The next three days were slow, Brennan had been in deep thought the whole three days. Booth had came and ate breakfast and dinner with her for two of the nights. He talked to her about how big Parker was getting and how Hanna and his problems have been on the down low lately. Booth was coming today for breakfast and Brennan had planned on talking to him on a personal matter that she could only trust him with a truthful answer.

She walked to the door, which was keeping a very handsome booth from entering the home. She opened the door and put a fake smile on her face when she saw the purple flowers in his hands. Booth smiled but knew her smile was fake. Brennan hadn't been the same lately and he hated seeing the woman he cared so deeply about like this.

"Hi Bones. I brought you some flowers for the vase on your kitchen table. I noticed it was empty yesterday morning." He stepped into the motionless home and handed the flowers to her, shivering when there hands 'accidentally' touched. She felt the interaction between there hands and blushed when she felt the chills arise through her frail body.

"Thank you, booth they are very pretty." the fake smile spread across her face again except this time it seemed a little more.. real.

"Let's have breakfast. Shall we?" he clapped his large hands together and smiled motioning her to the kitchen. "So bones. What do you have planned for today?" he was trying to make small talk which wasn't working to well.

"Nothing. But while we are eating I have a serous matter to talk to you about, and I expect a honest answer." Booths head shot up as the words easily slipped out of her mouth. He made eye contact with her to make sure he had her full attention.

"You know I will Always tell you the truth, bones." He was serous, bones sensed his seriousness and thought perhaps he though she was saying he lied or didn't tell the whole truth.

"No no booth I know you will tell me the truth but I was.." he cut her off before she could finish her last sentence.

"I know what you mean. I just wanted you to be clear with me, that you know I will Always tell you the truth. I would never, even dare lie to you." he gave his famous Booth smirk, which confused her.

"Why are you smirking?" she was serous and he was smirking. What was funny?

"It's nothing Bones, just remembering some good memories." He was thinking of the time in front if the FBI building when he told her the whole truth about how he felt but she denied bc she thought she couldn't be loved. He explained how he had to move on but just had to give it a shot and tell the truth.

"Oh well let's eat. Don't want it to get cold." that was her excuse she needed to get this conversation started but she didn't know how to get it started.

"Alright but first, let's start this conversation. What do you need to talk about Bones?'' he say down at the table as she brought both plates over and sat down as well.

"Do you think.." she paused trying to think of the right words to say booths eyes where focused on the fluffy yellow eggs he had on his plate. "Do you think I would be a good mother?" This brought his eyes straight to hers instantly.

"Bones, why are you asking me this? Are you pregnant? Who is the father? Is it Hacker?" He was spitting out questions fast and she had to stop him before he could continue anymore.

"No,no I'm not pregnant. I am considering fostering a kid, but in order to do so I need to know if you think I would be a good foster mother. I'm tired of being alone and I really would like a kid. Maybe if the child likes me.." she paused. "Never mind, I wouldn't want a child burdened with me as a foster mother. Just forget I said anything please."

He grabbed her hands without hesitation. "Bones what no! Any child would be lucky to have you as a foster mom. Or even a real mom. You would be a perfect mother Bones. If you want to do this I support you 100 present. But please be sure your doing what you want. God Bones you are great with Parker, you would be perfect with any child." He was gripping her hands and she was gripping back.

"Thank you Booth, I was just thinking I'm already have a foster parent license, you know if anything would happen to Russ and Amy I would get full custody if the girls. I've always wanted a child but I don't know if I am fit to be a mother figure." she had tears filling the rims of her eyes and booth could see them

"You would be a great mom bones. How about you think about it and we will go find a child that needs someone like you the most. Trust me, you are gonna be a great foster mom. But are you going to consider adoption eventually?" he was still connected to her hand and had a smile plastered on his face.

"Yes I thought if the child liked him I would consider adopting him/her. Do you think I should?" she wanted to hear him say yes. She wasn't disappointed.

"Yes. But I would suggest you think it over the next few days and I can take you to the local foster home when you are ready to take the step. That is if you want.." He was more than happy to take get down there.

"I think I will go down there and visit by myself first then if I'm sure with my decision and you still want to, you are more than welcome to join me to find the one who needs me most." he smiled at the use of his words. He knew she wanted to be sure of what she was doing so he didn't push her to decide right that Instant but he did think she knew what she was gonna do.

She was gonna foster her first kid.
