Piper had insisted on making her mommys favorite soup, her original idea was to make her a garden salad but her daddy quickly changed it up knowing Brennan wouldn't be in the mood for salad, since she is sick of course.

Booth set the bowl of steamy soup on the breakfast-n-bed tray, he grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge only to put it back, he remembered he had brought her a bottle and he knew she hadn't drank all of it yet.

"Come on pie, let's go give mommy her soup. But remeber baby be quite, mommy is sick."

Piper nodded and walked cautiously beside her daddy, being as quite as could be.

Booth nudged the door open with his for and peeked in, he wasn't surprised at the sight. Brennan was still sleeping, curled up in the white blanket with Booths pillow under her arm.

Piper saw her mommy laying there and frowned, she had never seen her mommy sick or even asleep, she was nervous of what the sight in front of her eyes would bring.

Booth slowly walked over to the bed, placing the tray down on the bedside table, he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Bones, baby wake up you need to eat something."

She didn't stir. Booth layed his unoccupied hand on her forehead, to his surprise she had no fever.

"Bones, come one babe. I need you to wake up. Piper is here, she made you breakfast."

As if the mention of Pipers name was a magic word, Brennan woke up, and rubbed her eyes.

"Booth, wha- what are you doing?"

"I brought you some soup, how ya feeling?"

"I'm feeling better, thank you for the soup."

She glanced at Piper and smiled.

"Hey baby girl, thank you for the soup."

Piper beamed at her mom, the little girl wasn't use to being thanked.

"Your welcome mommy, daddy did most of it though."

Brennan are her soup in the presence of her daughter, boyfriend, and Parker who had shown up wondering where Molly had wandered off too.

"How about we leave mommy to rest, and go clean up the kitchen, eh?"

"No it's okay booth, I'm feeling better, I think it will be best if I walk around some."

Booth smiled, he was proud to hear she was doing better. She even looked like she had got some of her color back, but now that he thought about it she wasn't really all that pale.

"Okay then, Parker how about you take Piper and change her into some lounging clothes for the day.."

Parker froze, he had only known the little girl for two days, how was he suppose to know how she would react to him changing her clothes.

Piper looked at him and saw his facial expression; terroir mixed with shock.

"Parka is you gonna help me or not?"

Parker smiled.

"Yes, come on Piper."

The duo trotted out the door leaving a smiling couple on the bed.

"Booth, can you take this?"

He nodded silently and took the tray away from her lap.

Brennan pulled her blankets back as booth stood next to her side of the bed.

"Bones are you getting sick again?"

He quickly say the tray down, his over protection kicking in.

"No calm down, I just have to pee."

His emotions seemed to relax as he let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, okay. I'm gonna take this into the kitchen. Do you need anything?"

She shook her head in negativity and walked into the stinch ridden bathroom.

Piper sat on her bed as Parker dug around in her closet.

"Okay, what do you want to wear today? We got some of these pants and a tee shirt."

He pulled out a pair of grey swear pants and a orange mini hockey camp tee shirt.

"Hey I think this shirt was mine when I was little."

Piper smiled, his shirt was now hers. Parker grinned, knowing either he had left it with bones one day after being 'babysat' or his dad had brought the shirt for Piper when he moved in.

"Parka, are you sure you can fit in that?"

Parker smiled loudly.

"No, this is yours now. There is no way I'm fitting in this ever again."

Piper stood to walk over to Parker's side.

"Good because I likes it."

He laughed a little laugh and walked Piper back to her original sitting place back on her bed.

"Let's get you dressed."

Booth walked back into the bedroom, Brennan has exited the bathroom and was currently sitting on the bed in just her robe.

"Hey bones, how ya feeling."

"I'm feeling better, thanks again by the way for the soup."

Booth made his way over to his girlfriend.

"Your more than welcome babe."

He leaned onto the side of the bed and kissed her brow.

"What do you have planned today?"

"Oh i dont know. Probably going to lounge around the place, unless you want to go do something."

Booth rubbed her back.

"That's a great idea, you need some rest anyway."

He kissed her head again. booth was about to stand and exit the room when Brennan's phone rang from the bedside table.

Brennan stood and grabbed her phone. She didn't recognize the number but answered it anyway, she expected it to be someone from the Jeffersonian calling to check on her.
