The ride to Parker's school was agonizing for the three year old. Her mom had told her lots about the one known as Parker Booth, so had her daddy, but now she was going I meet him.

"Piper sweety?"

Booth looked into the rear view mirror to see a overly excited Piper.

"We are here. Wait right there and I'll come unbuckle you. okay?"

Piper nodded in response to her daddy's command.

Booth climbed out of the SUV while Brennan applied a light shade of lip balm. Booth opened the back passenger door and smiled at his princess

"Okay, pie come on."

Piper reached her arms to the sky as her daddy unbuckled her car seat belts at ease.

Brennan had climbed out of the large SUV and was now waiting her boyfriend and excited child.

Piper giggled as she saw her mommy standing against the grill of the FBI issued truck.

Brennan noticed the girls giggle and turned into her direction.

"What are you giggling at?" Brennan asked playfully.

"Mommy your hair is standing up like a stick."

Piper pointed to her hair, the wind must have caught it as she stepped out of the truck just minuites before.

"Oh my, I guess I better fix it. Parker should be out soon so I have to hurry."

She walked over to the side mirror and focused her vision on her hair. She easily combed the piece back into it's rightful place, just in enough time for the school bell to ring. After a few slow seconds, kids began to bail out of the school, Parker being part of the wild clique.

His face went confused when he examined the parking lot for his moms car, and didn't find it until he spotted his dad, his favorite anthropologist, as the one known as Piper that he had yet to meet. He smiled broadly and began a easy trot over to the SUV.

"Hey dad, hey bones, and you must be Piper."

He smile at the little girl as he have his dad the usual hug.

"Mommy, dats Parka?"

Piper didn't expect Parker to look the way he did. Mostly because she had never meet his real mom and he didn't favor his dad much at all.

"Yes, baby. Say hi."

Piper walked out of the shadow of her mom into the sunlight in front of Parker.

"I'm Piper."

Piper stuck her small hand out, in exchange Parker shook her frail hand.

"Nice to finally meet you Piper, I'm Parker."

"I know, mommy told me."

Parker smiled at bones, she winked at him earning a smile from Booth.

"Now that everyone knows everyone how about we go grab your stuff from your moms then head out for a picnic? it's a pretty day." Booth spoke.

"That's sounds good, by the way, why didn't mom come pick me up?"

"She had to work, so she sent us, sorry you didn't get to say bye."

"It's okay, I'm use to it."

Booth wondered what he meant he was use to it, had bec left him alone before with out saying bye? He let the thought slide as he heard a car door open and noticed the gang he was with was piling into the car, he quickly copied them.

"Let's go, aye?"

The ride to Becs house was filled with silance, booths mind was stuck on the subject of weather Piper liked Parker. While Brennan's mind was stuck on weather Parker liked Piper. Parker's mind was stuck on weather Piper liked him, while Pipers mind was stuck on what a picnic was.

The whole was there was filed with thoughts.
