A couple of days had gone by as Link traveled to Gerudo to get the last two towers. Along the way, he recovered two memories. The one where I yelled at him and then the other when we visited Sanidin Park. To my surprise, Link found a white stallion there just like the one I used to ride. He even found the Royal Gear that had been kept by an elderly man.
Once Link finished the two towers, his map of Hyrule was complete. Overlooking Gerudo, I noticed a lot of it was covered in a dust storm. Inside of it, I saw the figure of Naboris.
Flying down from Gerudo Tower, Link glided to Gerudo Town. I watched as he tried to enter. The two guards pushed him back with their spears, telling him no voes were allowed in. He stood back up, brushing the sand off of him.
Off to the side was another man, standing next to a shrine Link had already gone through. The man seemed to be keeping an eye on every female that went inside the town. Link approached him.
"What's the deal?" the man questioned to himself. Once he noticed Link, he set his hand down that had been blocking the sun, "Oh, I was so focused just now . . . Do you have any business with me?"
"Are you spying?" Link asked bluntly.
The man backed up, "What?! N-no! I'm not a spy! I'm a merchant! I may not look like it, but I'm actually the leader of a caravan! I've traveled all the way here, but this town doesn't allow men to go in. So . . . that's why I . . . had to . . . um . . ."
"Are you spying?" Link repeated.
The guy was too proud to admit it, "It's research! RESEARCH!" He huffed, putting his hands on his waist, "And think what you want, but I've finally found some key info on how to sneak into Gerudo Town!"
"What info?"
He smiled, glad to see Link wouldn't rat him out. "Heheheh . . . Well, allow me to share with you . . . my heroic tale! It's been close to a week now . . . The guards have kicked me out more times than I can count . . . I almost gave up hope . . . HOWEVER! I have learned only recently of a man that slipped into this well-guarded town! I heard this man is frequently traveling between Kara Kara Bazaar and Gerudo Town. I've been waiting here, trying to spot him as he travels!"
The man proceeded to his regular spot, not being discreet about it at all. As it was getting hot out, Link decided he might as well head to Kara Kara Bazaar to figure out the mystery. If only he remembered what Urbosa had him do in the past. My bet was, this mystery man was doing the same thing.
To make the trip faster, Link caught ahold of one of the sand seals just outside of the town. The heat made him dizzy as they bounded across the sands. Once he made it to Kara Kara Bazaar, the sting of the desert cooled. Link squinted as he looked around the bazaar. He pulled out the Sheikah Slate to pull up one of the pictures.
Slowly he walked around until the picture matched up with what was in front of him. Then I was able to help him gain another memory. Unlike the others, the memory had no words spoken at all. It was the day I had left him behind and despite my constant ditching he still came to save me.
When the memory was over, Link looked like he was lost in thought for a bit, until he heard someone climbing a ladder while giggling. He blinked, looking over at the Inn where the sound had come from. Slowly he went up the stairs of the Inn and found where the ladder was at. He climbed it and then up another one.
At the very top stood a man wearing a bright magenta Gerudo outfit. I supposed, seeing how most Gerudo women were built, that it was easy enough for him to get away with it. But I wasn't fooled as the man didn't even take the time to shave his beard that poked out at the edges. Not to mention he was trying way too hard with his voice.
