"You can stop now." Frank says squirming under me, but I couldn't. "Please stop."
Frank starts turning pale and I could hear his pulse getting weaker. The taste is just too good, I can't stop. Frank lifts his hands and gently pushes me off him. I sit on his chest and blush, he puts his hands on my waist.
"I'm sorry," I mouth and I try to get off, his blood rolls down his neck.
He puts his hand on his neck and then looks at it in terror, I slip off of him and sit up next to him, disgusted with myself. I'm such a ugly and disgusting creature.
"I'm sorry-
"I understand," Frank says, pretending it is nothing.
He wipes some of the blood off my cheek.
"It isn't nothing!" I exclaim in anger.
"Gerard, it's who you are. You're a vampire and you need blood to survive. It's totally normal." Frank says calmly and smiles.
I start crying into my palms
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I'm sorry I'm such a monster and that I-
"Don't be sorry." Frank chips in then sits next to me and wipes off my tears with his thumbs, "I won't want you any other way."
He kisses my forehead and holds me tightly. I feel safe in his arms. My tears instantly dry up with his kind words.
"I'll always love you." He strokes my cheek and I shyly smile.
Looking at the mess I made on his neck, I realize what I must look like. Repeatedly I embarrassedly wipe my mouth off on my shirt until no more blood comes off. Frank tries touching his neck again and flinches from the pain.
"Let me help." I bite onto my wrist and make two tiny holes on my skin.
"It's not so bad, just a little tender but it's really fine." He looks at me.
"Trust me?" I kiss his cheek and continue looking at my wrist.
Soon two tiny drops of blood appears, I dab my fingertip on it and apply it to Frank's neck. He tries to sit still and not to move. The wound immediately reacts and heals, not leaving a single trace of blood left, just the two little holes on my wrist.
"How do you-
"Vampire thing." I chip in and Frank smirks while shaking his head.
"See? Look how normal it is to you, a little blood shouldn't upset you." He says, taking my hand.
"It's not the blood, it's your blood."
"I'll do anything for you." He says and kisses my hand, "I hope you know I missed you."
I smile as he does it.
"How are you feeling? You know after getting injected?" I say as the thought of the injection returns to me.
"So far, nothing really. Hasn't effected me. Well, I can't even feel bad when I'm with you."
"No seriously. Not even a headache? Like when I was infected during the attack, it immediately effected me." I slowly move a little closer, making our shoulders touch.
A wave of electricity goes through him to me as we touch. He takes my hand and puts it on his chest, making me feel his heartbeat.
"You're a vampire, we just cleared that topic, remember? I'm not. Things won't affect us in the same ways. Like you just feel sick all the time, maybe I could drop dead in any second. Who knows."
