It's the next morning, everyone is awake and already ready to go on duty.
Once again I'm late everyone else is standing in line except since I'm struggling to carry my equipment and Frank helps me carry.
My arms are still too weak and I can't carry anything over my shoulders yet.
"Welcome back Way." The General says I freeze in the awkwardness, everyone around me stares. "With the unfortunate loss of our female Commander from our female army, Commander Diego, we've decided to replace her and move the lovely ladies into our courtiers." The men groan softly and General stares in anger at them. They quickly settle down and look up. "You're going to respect your fellow soldiers. Commander Marx, please introduce yourself."
A woman comes to the front wearing her camouflage uniform. She is scrawny and small but extremely muscular. I can see her muscles under her shirt. She salutes us and we salute back, standing up straight. She whistles and a huge group of women, emerge from the darkness. They're all heavily armed, ready for battle. This is something we need, a little more motivation. They stop formally in front of us and salute us. The men smile and salute at them too. "Respect us and we'll respect you boys." She calls loudly
"You're dismissed until this evening." The General says and the men start leaving.
"I'd like to see you Way by the nurse's office." I could recognize her voice. I tell Frank I'll be with him soon, he nods and walks away. Her voice keeps replaying my head. I lazily walk to where she called me.
"Lillith?" I say as I recognize her face and she turns to face me, smiling uncontrollably "Long time no see. How's the war been on your-
She pushes me against the wall and kisses me hard. I was so surprised I just stood there. After a few seconds I push her away.
"I thought we could pick things up where we left it at the mansion. I couldn't stop thinking about you." She says trying to kiss me again, I just move.
"Look," I hold my hands out and try to keep her away, "You're an amazing woman and I'm sure there's someone who would love to be with you." She crosses her eyebrows and angrily glares at me. She shakes her head in disbelief as she sees the ring on my finger.
"You're a lying cheating-
"What are you talking about? We never were a thing!" I whisper loudly and she turns her back to me. "You weren't ever interested!"
"I imprinted on you! Doesn't that mean something to you?" She says coldly and folds her arms.
"Of course it does! You're my maker and you're my friend. You were the first friend I ever had except for Mikey. Now he's dead!" The Earth silences between us as those words come out of my mouth.
"I'm so sorry about Mikey. I didn't mean to upset you." She tries to hug me but I push her off, making her move away a few feet. She shrugs and folds her arm.
"Well it's too late now. Just got, I've got things to do." I growl at her.
"Well I hope you and your special someone are going to be happy."
"Frank and I are very happy."
"Frank? You've got to be kidding. When did you decide to go gay now?" She chuckles and I angrily ball my fists, "That's piece of shit? The wolf that's got fangs now too? What has he ever done for you? He'll never be able to care for you as much as I can." She rolls her eyes, out of my fury I grab her by her throat and pin her to the wall.
