Chapter 1

First, Madison in this story is not Madison Beer. I'm not referring it to her, I'm just really bad at names and Madison is the first thing that pops into my mind when I needed a bully name. So sorry if you got confused. Enjoy the story!

~Mae's POV~

I walked in the hell/prison where I always go to 5 days in a week for 10 months every year.

School.

As I walked inside with my best friend, Emma, I already got my attention to the huge crowd beside the lockers.

"What's going on in there?" I asked Emma while focusing on the pack of people.

"I heard there's a new kid," Emma replied but I didn't let her finished by me walking towards the crowd.

I tapped Madison's shoulder, the biggest bully in school. She turned around and put on a smile on her face.

"Hi bestie," she said, grinning at me.

"Don't ever call me bestie because we never were," I said.

"But I want you to be my bestie," she said back, pouting her lips, which works with everyone except me.

"We're never gonna be best friends," I replied.

"You might be forgetting that I'm taller than you," she responded, placing a hand on her hip.

That is totally out of the point, but I know exactly what to reply to her to make her stop.

"You might be forgetting that I'm a second degree black belt on karate," I said back, momicking her move.

She groaned loudly and started walking away with her minions following her every move.

"Oh and I almost forgot," I shouted, remembering why I was here in the first place.

She turned around with her fake body following her.

Yeah her body are all fake. Her parents let her do a plastic surgery of her body. It's disgusting.

"If you ever bully someone again and broke their feelings, I might break your bones. I'm not kidding, Madison. This is the last person you will ever bully. And if not, you will never see the living day light again."

I heard a lot of OH's, burns and laughs from the other students behind me. Madison gave me her evil look, I give her a huge grin, and she started walking away from me with her ugly sassy walk.

I turned around to see the person that Madison just bullied. He was picking his books out of the floor then put it in his backpack, and I decided to help.

"Are you okay?" I asked the guy, as we stood up from picking his books on the floor and I handed him his glasses.

"Yeah," he hesitated. "I'm used to it."

His outfits were all nerdy like so maybe that's why he got bullied a lot. I feel so bad for him.

"Well, you shouldn't let people treat you like that, you're no different than the others," I advised.

I grabbed his hands and pulled up his sleeves to see a lot of his cuts. I bite my bottom lip, moving my eyes to look at his hazel eyes.

"Can you promise you'll never cut again?" I suggested. "I'm always gonna be here for you when you need someone to talk to."

He nodded and smiled. I smiled back then the first bell rang.

"What's your first class?" I asked him.

"Math," he replied, putting his bag on his back and started walking in the hallway to get to our class.

"Same," I said, smiling.

His smile was actually so cute. He just need something to change up a little bit and he'll be attractive. But I doubt it, he probably don't even want to change anything about him, even his looks.

Emma walked in her first class, English while me and the guy that I don't know yet walked in our Math class.

I asked him his name and he replied with, "I'm Matthew Espinosa but you can call me Matt."

"My name is Maria Hunter but people call me Mae," I said back.

**At lunch**

Emma, Matt and I were sitting together in the cafeteria eating our lunch. I think we're all best friends now.

I heard a lot of hates for me and Matt from the kids in the hallway but mostly about Matt. I ignored it and so did him, instead he said, "Can you do me the favor of doing your homework for the rest of the week?"

"I can do my own homework," I replied. "But thanks though."

"No, please, let me do it," he begged. "I wanted to thank you for helping me with the bullies today."

"If you insist," I agreed, smiling.
