~Mae's POV~

I couldn't help myself. I let him kissed me. And I kissed back. I didn't want that to happen between us yet. I wanted to kiss him when I got his trust back. But it's all alright. His lips being on mine again felt heavenly. I missed it. I miss everything that he does to me.

60% more percent and we'll be together- if we were actually together. But like he said, we act like it.

"Before we start," Mr. Grier announced as we say in the middle of the field. "I would like to represent that another teenage girl would like to try out for this team."

We all looked at each other with a confused look on our faces. Matt move closer to me and lean in.

"Who do you think could that be?" he whispered in my ear to make me shiver.

"I don't know," I shrugged. "But let's hope that it's neither Madison nor Cynthia."

"Fingers crossed," he whispered again and he crossed his fingers together. And I did so.

"Let's welcome, Cynthia Hamilton," Mr. Grier introduced.

Everyone clapped their hands while Matt and I shared a glance in disbelief while shaking our heads. I couldn't believe she wanted to try out football. A lot of people say that she's not good at any sports, except having s*x with guys. That's a sport, right?

Cynthia rab in the middle of the field from out of nowhere. She's wearing football equipment (Duhhh!) while she's holding her helmet on her side. She gave us all innocent smiles as she looks at everyone at the field. But I noticed that when she looked at me and Matt, she gave as an evil look and a smirk. I rolled my eyes and looked at Adrian and Matt, who's beside me. They were both seems pretty mad and shock too.

"You guys can now do a lap around the field," Mr. Grier instructed us. "And when you finish just sit down in the middle of the field again."

We did what he instructed us and it took us about a minute to finish the whole lap. Cynthia took her about 2 minutes. But I was glad that she didn't do anything stupid to me or Matt yet.

We all sat in the middle of the field and we all started stretching as Mr. Grier and the other coaches walked in front of us. They decided that we're going to the Drop-back Passing Lines first. Then the Sprint-Out Passing Lines warm up. And at the next hour that will be left, we will be doing a real practice game.

_______

The try-out is about to finish and I am delightful that Cynthia didn't do something to us, except those evil glares that she always gave us. But when I always get a touchdown on my group, I'm the one who's giving her a look.

She didn't got a touchdown. She didn't even run. What's the point of trying out on a sport, if you're not going to do anything that requires that sport? (I don't think that made sense. Lol, sorry)

Stupid!

We all changed into our plainclothes. Before we could leave, Mr. Grier again told us to sit in the middle of the field.

"Some of you might know this and some of you might not," he started. "I will not be coaching you guys for football next school year."

"What? Why?" we simultaneously asked.

"My family and I will be moving in to North Carolina," he replied. "My wife and I found a better work in there that pays more than our job here. To be honest, it was awesome coaching you guys for 9 years and I don't want to move. But this opportunity only happen in once in a life time. It has been a pleasure coaching you guys. I'm going to miss you."
