~Mae's POV~

I woke up by the sound of my phone telling me there was a message. I moved myself but a strong grip stopped me. I turned around to see Matt sleeping with his hands still around me. I stretched my arm to grab my phone from the night stand and I successfully succeeded without waking him. I put on my passcode and pressed the messenger app to see that Adrian texted me. I don't know why but a smile appeared on my face. I opened his message and it says, Good morning beautiful! As I read his message, my smile widened. I replied with, Good morning! I set my phone back down beside the pillow but he instantly replied.

Adrian: Whatcha doin later tonight?

Mae: Nothing that I know of, why?

Adrian: Wanna hang out tonight? Please?

Mae: Sure. Who's place tho?

Adrian: My place? My parents aren't going to be home till tomorrow morning anyways.

Mae: Sure, sounds great. I'll be there at 5?

Adrian: Absolutely! Great! See you later, babe! :*

Mae: See you!

My heart fluttered by the way he texted me with the word babe on his text. I miss it when he always text me that word every morning to brightens my day. I miss it when he always text me good morning and good night messages. I miss the days when we're always happy. I miss the days when we never cared about our surroundings. I miss the days when we hangout every day. I miss the days when we cuddle all day while watching Netflix and eating chips and candies. I miss his body against mine. I miss his hugs. I miss everything about him and we do together. Maybe I do still have feelings for him. But the only thing that I can only do right now is smile as big as I can.

"What are you smiling about?" I heard Matt whisper in my ear.

I turned to my right and my lips crashed into his. I didn't even know that he's that close to me. Butterflies in my stomach are now awake and started flying around, sparks keeps glimmering between our bodies. I felt his hand on my cheek as he kissed back, not caring at our morning breathes at all. I pulled away as we tried catching our breaths. I saw him lick his lips, then smile, which definitely turned me on.

"So, are you going to answer my question?" he asked again, as he managed to catch his breathing.

"No," I smiled.

"Why not?" he asked as he put his puppy dog eyes and pouted lips.

Before I could reply to his question and his cuteness, my phone rang again, revealing that I have a text. I grabbed my phone beside my pillow and open the message from. Adrian.

Adrian: Hey! Are you going to school today?

Mae: Wait?! We have school?!

Adrian: Don't worry; it's not until after lunch.

Mae: K good cuz I wasn't ready. Then yeah I'm coming.

Adrian: LOL well see you later ;)

Mae: See ya!

"You still like him, don't you?" I heard Matt asked.

"No, I don't," I replied, totally lying.

"Are you lying to me?" he asked again. I looked up to him and his eyes are full of sadness.

"I'm not lying," I replied, lying again.
