Chapter 16

In order of Shawn's Something Big music video, I decided to update after the longest time of no updating. It's a short chapter, I'm so sorry. ~Mae's POV~

"Can you please hum me a lullaby?" Abby begged.

"Sure," I agreed.

A huge smile appeared on her face as she led me and Matt to her room. She excitedly got in bed and Matt put her under the covers. I laid down on her right side while Matt lay down on her left side. I started scratching her back, the way she like it to get some sleep, and I started humming.

After 10 minutes of humming, I finally get Abby to go to sleep and it seems that Matt did too. He has his arms around Abby's waist and her left arm is lying on his neck. I smiled at myself of how cute they both look and decided to take a picture of it on my phone and also took one his phone.

I haven't really seen Matt post something on his social Medias so I tried to guess his phone's password. I tried 1234 but it didn't work. I thought about it for a second and I got an idea. I entered the day we first met and I surprisingly got in. That is so cute.

I'm not planning on doing anything on it except his twitter. I post the picture that I took tonight with a caption: Was babysitting this little cutie and tagged myself on it. I pressed the tweet button and set his phone back down at the night stand.

I walked outside of the room and to the living room to see a huge mess all around the house. "Oh my gosh," I sighed. I walked to their closet and grab all the cleaning supplies that I needed. I started sweeping the flour and the cocoa at the kitchen. That took about half an hour because we waste a 5 kg of flour and 2.5 kg of cocoa.

I then started wiping all the water in the bathroom and it was easy and fast. It only took me 20 minutes to clean it.

Afterward, I started vacuuming all the stains that we made on their carpet and that cleaning took me for eternity. I finally finished cleaning the entire whole house at around 11 and I am tired as hell. I collapsed on their couch that feels heavenly as I finished putting the cleaning supplies back to the closet and I rested my eyes.

Until I heard the door creaked open. I opened my eyes and turned my head to the entrance to see Amy walking inside and lay my back down to the couch again.

"Oh hey Mae," she said.

"Hi," I said, without looking at her.

"Wow," she said. I looked at her and she has a surprise look on her face. "This house is really clean. I've never seen this house so clean before. Thank you."

"You're welcome," I smiled. "And Abby is sleeping in her bed with Matt, who is sleeping too."

She laughed and walked towards the couch that I'm in.

"How was your ladies' night?" I asked.

"It was awesome," she beamed. "How's Abby?"

"Messier as always," I laughed and she joined.

We talked for about 10 minutes of how our day went until Matt woke up and decided to interrupt our conversation. He walked towards us, sat next to me. He put his arms around my waist and his head on my shoulder. I saw Amy smiled at us and I returned the gesture.

"Can we go?" Matt pleased.

"Sure," I agreed as Amy nodded.

I stood up from my seat which made his whole body crashed to the couch.

"Ouch," he groaned and stood up.

"It's a couch," I sarcastically said. "Couch doesn't hurt you. You hurt them."

"I'll pay you guys tomorrow," Amy interrupts.

"Sure," I smiled.

We walked outside to Matt's truck nd surprisingly he didn't open the door for me. He went straight to the driver's side and started the engine.

"We should probably stop at the nearest hotel," I suggested without looking at him.

"Why not at your house?" he asked.

"I don't want to deal with my dad right now," I replied. "I'm really tired."

"Same," he agreed.

I rested my head on the chair and my eyes slowly closed. For a few minutes, I felt someone grabbed me out of my seat and dragged me somewhere. I tried opening my eyes but they're too tired to open. I heard a click from somewhere and the last thing I know is that the person laid me down at a soft, warm and a comfortable bed. I got on my side and I felt something around me. He pulled me closer to him and hugged me tight. I felt him kissed the temple of my head and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
