Chapter 15

~Matt's POV~

To be honest, I never liked babysitting but I'm enjoying this one so far, even though we barely did anything yet. It's probably because I'm with Mae and Abby actually liked me.

We just finished playing Barbie dolls at her play house and now we're getting ready to make double chocolate chip muffins.

Mae assigned me and Abby to mix the dry ingredients together while she mixed the liquid ingredients. While Mae pre-heated the oven, I leaned down and whispered something to Abby's ear. When I finished telling her the plan, a huge grin appeared in her face and she excitedly nodded. I put all the ingredients on the countertops and Abby giggled a little bit. Mae looked at us with a puzzled look on her face and I saw Abby put her hand inside the flour bag and started throwing it across the room to Mae. She whined then went to the flour bag to get some in her hands and she threw it to us. We ended up having a flour fight and we also combined it with the cocoa for 15 minutes.

We finally stopped because we have nothing else to throw to each other and Abby was killing herself laughing. Mae was walking towards us, laughing as well, until she slipped to some flour on the floor. Abby and I laughed even harder while Mae sat up and gave us a death glare. I stood up and offered her my hand, still laughing, she accepted it, and I pulled her up.

"Did you two plan that?" she asked, looking at me and Abby.

Abby nodded and she continued laughing. Mae grabbed her by the waist and let her down from the kitchen stool.

"Now you need to take a bath," she said, leaning down to Abby and dust some of the flour off her.

"But I don't want to," Abby groaned.

"You have too," Mae replied. "You're covered with flour."

"Can I do a bubble bath?" Abby asked, making her puppy dog eyes. "And can you two come with me?"

Mae looked at me with a smile on her face telling me that we should do it and I nodded. We both started walking up to the bathroom but Abby is skipping with each of our hands on hers. I turned on the water, just a normal temperature for her. Put soap on the water and when I look up both of them were out of sight. I heard footsteps and giggling coming down from upstairs and they popped out of the bathroom door to see that Abby is now in her bathing suit. The bath tub is finally full and Abby jumped in the water to make a huge splash in the whole bathroom. She started splashing water at Mae and I, and we were just there covering our body and laughing. This kid makes a lot of mess for us to clean. And we should've brought clean clothes for us to change into.

10 minutes later, Abby is finally getting dried off while Mae and I are soaking wet.

"You should grab the bag that I brought," Mae suggested.

I nodded and make my way to the living room. I tried not to leave any water dripping but it's too hard, my whole body is really wet from the water. I opened the bathroom door to see that Abby is already fully clothed but Mae is still wet like me. I handed her the bag and she pulled something out. Clothes. She handed me sweats and a t-shirt and I grabbed it out of her hands. She pulled another t-shirt and sweatpants and put it on the sink. We both looked at each other, trying to decide who would change first and of course we couldn't decide. I looked at Abby and a grin appeared on her face. She ran out of the bathroom and closed the door behind her. Mae ran to the door, trying to open it but the lock is on the other side of the door.

"Abby, open the door!" she yelled.

"No thanks," Abby yelled back.

Of course, Abby and I planned this. And before we did the plan, I locked the front and the back door and closed all the windows so no one would think to kidnap Abby while we're in here.
