Chapter 3

I'm going to skip all the school days and just continue on the Saturday.

**5 days later; Saturday, Shopping Day**

~Matt's POV~

I woke up with a smile on my face to realize that today was the day that we're gonna change my looks. I can't wait to end up really attractive like the other guys on my old/new school. Not sounding like I'm gay but they look really hot, cute, tall and sporty, everything that girls like in a guy. Mae and I decided to go to the nearest mall before lunch. I don't know why she wanted to go that time but I said yes. Maybe she does like me and she wants to hang out with me even more, maybe she'll think that this is a date but she's paying. Just keep dreaming Matt just keep dreaming.

I borrowed my dad's white pickup truck as I knew that we needed more space to put our shopping bags on the trunk. I went to her house at 11:00 and as usual she looks gorgeous as always. She has her hair straighten as always, a tie dye shirt, and leggings, which is so attractive right now. Who am I kidding, she always looks attractive. I got out of the car, went on the other side of the truck and open the passenger door for her, trying to be gentlemen even though I'm a nerd. She smiled at me with her gorgeous smile ever then her dark brown eyes sparkled. I smiled back, closing the door as soon as she's inside, and then drove to the mall. Mae inserted her phone on the speaker for the music in the car and put on the song Invisible by Hunter Hayes. Before the song played she looked at me straight in my eyes.

"This song is for you," she smiled.

I smiled back and continued my focus on the road. She pressed play and started humming with it while looking at her window. Her voice is amazing. It's like listening to an angel, you feel like you're in heaven when you hear her sing, it was beautiful.

When we finally got inside the mall, Mae grabbed my hand and led me inside of the fast food restaurant. I think it's called Chipotle. I've heard the name before but I've never been to one because I thought it's really expensive and my parents don't have time to eat and go in a fancy restaurant because of work. Mae ordered us both a Taco Salad and a soda with guacamole on the side. We were talking, laughing and I think she was flirting to me? I couldn't tell. She's the first girl that has ever talked to me since I became a nerd. After she finished her food, she put her chin on the palm of her hand and focused on me or my hair.

"Can I help you?" I asked as I get really uncomfortable and annoyed about it.

"Oh I was just thinking what you would look like with a different kind of hair style," she replied, still focusing on my hair.

"Yeah, like what?" I asked.

She tilted her head a little bit then thinks for a while, then she stood up from her sit and she started moving my hair into the sides, straight then side again. She went back to her seat, focused on my hair again and she smiled ear to ear.

"Perfect," she beamed.

She handed me her phone on it was the camera. My hair was always down I never spike it up but not being too braggy about it but I really look attractive, Mae do think so.

"See, with your hair spiked up even though you wear nerdy clothes you look really cute," she smirked. "No offence."

"None taken," I smiled back.

"Were gonna buy you some hair products," Mae said, excitedly jumping out of her sit.

After I finished eating my Taco Salad we went to a lot of stores such as American Eagle, Aerospostale, Macy's, Old Navy, Hollister, Gap, and Banana Republic, Urban Outfitters, Zumiez, and Vans. In the middle of our shopping, Mae walked in Starbucks and orders two different Frappuccino for us. We finished shopping and I ended up having 15 huge shopping bags and that's all mine, some of the bags requires t-shirts, shirts, graphic tees, baseball tees, polo, hoodies, sweatshirts, varsity jackets, quilted vests, joggers, denim jeans, sweatpants, khakis pants, belts, some accessories, hats and beanies and 3 different kinds of hair products to spike up my hair. She said that I look even more attractive if I have my hair spike up while wearing a beanie or a hat so we bought 10 beanies and 5 hats. After we finished putting my shopping clothes to the trunk of the truck and putting the covers so no one would steal it, we decided to watch 'About Time' in the movie theatre.
