"So..." Dan's mother's voice trails off with excitement. She is absolutely over the moon with joy Dan is starring in a film.

"It went well." Dan admits with a massive smile on his face, the smile of which is definitely bigger than someone who has unfortunately been on the receiving end of a Chelsea smile.

"Is that just it? Tell me all about it! Show me your script...I wanna see." Dan shakes his head, which kills him, because he loves his mother more than anything and anyone. But this film is top secret - although some Marvel obsessed fans are already theorising the possibility of a Liam Dawson movie - nothing has been made official to the fans as of yet.

"Oh come on! I promise I won't tell anyone. At least tell me the character you're playing" Isla Smith, Dan's mother, has deliberately been given him wine continuously since he arrived. It's only because she wants him to fuck up and reveal which superhero he's playing.

"I'm...no. No." Much to Isla's dismay Dan nearly fucked up. But at he knows it. For a few seconds he closes his eyes and drunkenly smiles...but most importantly he feels good.

Usually when the thirty-two year old gets drunk he becomes extremely emotional - but after the great table reads today - things are finally starting to look positive for the film. In the pre-production days many directors refused to sign onto the movie, including the Russo Brothers. No one wanted to fail Marvels last movie. No one. But now things are starting to finally lookup for the film. They've got the crew, the director, and most importantly their lead actor. Filming begins next week, and the best part for Dan is that he can walk to the set site. No flying half way around the world, or whatever A-listers normally have to do. It's the first - and last - British Marvel solo superhero film.

Marvel wants to end the cinematic universe on a different note. They want a dark movie, but with a important message. It's what made half of the cast sign up for the project, they all know that it's going to be hard...but as long as they spread the true message of the film in a 'non-preachy' way then it's job done.

"If you really must know..." - Dan's voice trails off as he remembers what Aubrey Chambers told him about what he can and can't say. She said that's okay to give some information, and subtle hints if need be - "he isn't a popular character, so it's safe to say you won't know him." Isla then makes a disappointed 'oh' sound while Dan sniggers like a immature twelve year old.

Dan had no idea who Liam Dawson was, nor did he know that his superhero name is Illusion. He didn't have any idea of his superpowers either. So it's funny seeing his mother's reaction to the most unpopular superhero, because he had the exact same reaction in the casting call. Especially since he's consumed way more wine than he should've...

"So you're not an Avenger?" At the end of the film Liam does become an Avenger. Even in Dan's current state, he manages to shrug his shoulders backwards. Dan isn't actually confirming or denying her question, which is a considerably smart move from a very drunk man.

"This secrecy is going to kill you. You do know that right?" She laughs while Dan itches his very red nose. In fact his whole face is getting redder by the second. But Dan remains silent, which is very unusual for someone who loves to talk about anything and everything.

Out of curiosity Isla asks one of the bigger things on her mind. She wants to watch the film...but she doesn't necessarily want to watch her son having a intimate sex scene. "Is there a...you know" - Isla whispers with smile - "a sex scene?" Dan rolls his eyes backwards at her comment. Even when he's drunk he remains sassy.
