— Day 58, wrap

"What are you going to do now?" Dan yawns as he feels like he should go out and train more. The London marathon is just literally days away...and him and his mates haven't been exactly training like how they was suppose to.

"I'm going to go home, put a nice dress on, and then go to the cinema. I would ask but I know you have plans of your own." Despite being a couple, they're both very independent still. They're not the type to drop their 'social life' for each other which is a good thing in this day and age.

"Yeah, I'm probably going to have a run around Hyde. Do you wanna join?"

"Do I want to join you...running..." Charlie points at Dan while she laughs at the last part.

   "Come on. It'll be fun."

"Dan, darling, I'm concerned. Have you had a concussion or something?" — she places the back of her palm of his forehead, like a mother does to a sick child. Dan smiles slightly shaking his head — "Then what the fuck is your definition of fun? Running is torture, not fun!" Dan laughs while he places his arm around Charlie's shoulders.

"Come out for a run with me...please." He pleads in a very so light voice. It's hard not to say no to him...but Charlie is a strong girl.

"Are you forgetting that somewhere inside of me is our baby?" Dan then shrugs.

"It's fine." He nervously laughs as he gently pats her flat stomach while Charlie gives him a long continuous scolding look.

"Touch my stomach one more fucking time" — Charlie warns — "and I will break your legs." Dan then immaturely hursts into laughter but then Charlie realise what she had just said.

"Not like that!" She shouts while she stands up and quickly follows Dan out of the door, but he then bursts into a sudden run.

Charlie who is wearing tight jeans cannot run after Dan...even if she wanted too. "Fine!" She shouts while Dan stands the distance with his arms akimbo.

"I'll meet you at our spot...forty five minutes!" She shouts while Dan does the celebratory pose.

Their spot in Hyde Park is the end that no one really goes to. It's mainly a open land bit for dogs to play, since that's why no one goes. But because of some arsehole recently, they had to turn dogs away. Apparently dogs got poisoned by the grass.

"See you there!" Dan shouts while stretching in his his Adidas tracksuit.

He truly is a South London Cinderella.

Forty five minutes later and Charlie in her gym clothes. She's already tired because of the trek to the park, but once she sees Dan texting away on his phone she decides to jump scare him...by jumping on his back.

"Fuck me!" Dan screams before he turns around.

Charlie gets off of her boyfriend and collapses to the ground with laughter. "Fucking hell babe!" Dan repeats again as he holds where his heart is and collapses down on the floor besides Charlie as they both laugh their hearts out.

"Are you okay?" Dan hold's the side of Charlie's waist. Since it's the closest he can get to her stomach without her freaking out.

With a massive smile planted on her soft pink lips Charlie nods her head. "Of course I am. Are you okay?" Dan nods his head with a similar smile.

"Yeah. Actually...I was in the middle of texting Chris." Charlie squints her eyes looking confused. She knows Chris is. She's just confused as to why Dan would be texting him, especially since many of Bastille turned their backs on Dan because of Holly...

Although it was the other way around. Dan was the one who refused to answer calls and texts, he didn't open the door up either. Dan...just blocked everyone out. He thought that they would hate him, that he didn't follow Holly and save her. So that's the reason why Dan got into a depressive state.

It wasn't nobodies fault.

"Wow Dan..." Charlie laughs in disbelief before holding onto his arm for support, though Dan wants to shrug it off. Irma only because he doesn't like feeling patronised. But what Dan doesn't know is that Charlie is thrilled for him to be back in contact with two Bastille members...she wants nothing more than to go to a infamous Bastille show!

"Is everything okay on his end?" Then wearily says hoping that everything and everyone is okay. Bastille don't need anymore grief to come between them.

Thankfully for Charlie...and everyone...Dan nods his head with a irresistible smile. The kind Charlie has never seen before, even when Dan perfects his scenes...but he is genuinely proud of himself. For the first time in a very long time. Everything in Dan's life is finally going right.

"Yeah, everything's okay. I was the one who texted him in the first place." Charlie then sits up a little and hugs into her legs while Dan sits opposite her, dusting off the dirt on his hands.

"What did you say?"

Dan shrugs. "I didn't say anything much. It was the usual, but I apologised for being a complete and utter dickhead." Charlie makes an 'aw' sound but Dan shakes his head.

"And then what else did you say?"

"I know he likes Marvel films, so instead of Ralph coming to visit the set next week, he is. And I'm so fucking nervous." Charlie lets go of her legs and then crawls on all fours over to Dan, before kissing him softly on the lips.

"Don't be." She smiles pulling back slightly.

"Can we just...forget about it...and run" Charlie tilts her head back as she thinks about the horror that is running.

"Do we have to?" Charlie tries not to cry thinking about how much she does not want to be seen in public running manically.

"Plug your earphones in." Dan taps Charlie on her shoulder before stands up. For a few seconds Charlie sulks like a spoilt primary school child, but then Dan gives her a hand up.

They say you can't run without the perfect soundtrack. That perfect running soundtrack for Charlie is a haunting little album called Bad Blood...meanwhile Dan's soundtrack is his mix and match playlist.
