"Dan, babe, please can you come out of the toilet..." Charlie lightly says while she knocks on the white wooden door.

Dan locked himself in there. It wasn't what anyone was expecting him to do. "I can't!" Dan says while he hyperventilates.

"It's just a fucking baby, you wuss!" Charlie slams her hand into the door.

"Charlie! No! That's not the way to..." — Aubrey quickly pulls Charlie away from attacking the door — "it's not the way to go about things!" But Charlie continues to call Dan a 'pussy' at the top of her voice, while Dan is in the bathroom doubles over and holds onto the side of the sink.

"He'll be fine. Just give him eighteen years." Charlie throws her hand backwards before cracking a smile, Aubrey would've thought this would be the other way around. That Charlie would be distraught and Dan would be happy.

"Dan, please come out." Aubrey says sweetly while Charlie gets her phone out of the pocket

"I-I can't bre-breathe." Dan stutters While he claws at his throat.

"When Lorde sung 'we told you this was melodrama' this is legitimately what she fucking meant." Charlie crosses her arms before standing to the side of the bathrooms door.

"I can't be a dad. I can't." Dan literally cries while Charlie looks at her phone in boredom. Aubrey has to double look her in shock, Charlie's so calm...but happy.

"Check this out, It's a sloth riding a dog." She immaturely laughs while tilting her phone in Aubrey's direction with the funny video on it.

"Is your whole family fucking crazy or something?!" Aubrey shouts while Charlie honestly nods her head.

"Yeah...pretty much. Is your family a bunch of twats or is it just you?" Aubrey shakes her head and chooses to ignore Charlie's voice.

But then Charlie rolls her eyes back in frustration. She knows that this is a delicate subject to Dan...who has only once ever spoke out kids. "Leave us alone." Charlie whispers while Aubrey laughs looking at her.

"I'm not going to leave Dan alone with you. He's clearly upset and you're making things ten times worse." But Charlie points at Aubrey.

"You have no right getting into our personal business. You've done your part...just leave me alone with my boyfriend." Charlie isn't in the mood to be feisty anymore. She knows that Dan is probably having a baby of his own in the bathroom. Sure he wants kids, but he never thought he was actually going to have them...

Aubrey nods her head in silence. Sometimes she gets too caught up in Charlie's dramas by habit. "Sorry. This is not my place...I need to get something anyway." Aubrey thinks it's about time Charlie see's the audition tape of her father. She knows that Charlie will hate her even more...but maybe it'll help Dan seeing someone who is younger than he is loving his baby.

Aubrey then silently walks out of the room with her held bowed down. Charlie then sits to the floor with her arms crossed. "It's just us, mate." Charlie whispers while she looks on her phone for a few seconds, trying to get advice on what to say from a wiki how page.

But nothing, to her dismay, comes up.

"Are you sure that test is positive?" He whispers while sitting on the toilet with his hand in his hands.

"It's the most expensive pregnancy test there is, Dan. If you want I'll go to the doctors or hospital and properly get checked out."

Dan says nothing, which makes her feel bad. "Your mum is going to be over the moon. I think that she thought I was pregnant before, remember when we went out for dinner?" Charlie says in a light tone.

"There's still a chance that you're not." Charlie knows she is. Dan knows she is...it's just a coping mechanism.

"What's so bad about having a kid? A family." Dan shrugs his shoulders back.

"Me and you...we're going to get popular...but then we're going to disappear for months on end because of the baby. The hype surrounding us will die and then we'll be Christmas movie dickheads."

"I disappeared for two years because I was depressed. I still had fan accounts, I still had people releasing pre-recorded interviews of me. We still can do interviews, and you'll be back after three weeks off. Like...now is the time to have a kid. We're finishing a movie, then disappearing for a few months while they edit it...then doing promo. We can take the kid along with us on promo. It's fine."

"Seriously?" Dan asks as he feel a little relieved. Dan's always trying to look out for his future, he wants to be in total control of it. So now he feels a little thrown off course with the baby, although he isn't mad that it's a thing.

He's taken the news like any other guy would in the same scenario.

"Deadly." Charlie smiles. Those two years were the darkest time of her life, but she was trooper and marched on.

"Anyway, I don't want to talk about it until I'm a few months. Anything can happen." Charlie sometimes can be very logical.

"Can you just open the door so I can hug you or something? I feel lonely."

Dan dries his eyes like a maniac. He doesn't want his girlfriend to see how much this news has effected him, he then takes a shakes deep breath before opening up the door.

Charlie then gets up quickly off of the floor the exact second Dan unbolts the door. Almost immediately she then jumps into his arms while they embrace one another in a sweet silence.

"Let's just go and get dinner or something, okay?" Charlie wants to celebrate but she knows that Dan wants to do anything but that. But she also knows that Dan is going to regret not celebrating...

"Okay." Dan nods his head while Charlie smiles, before holding the side of his soft warm cheek with her palm.

"I know a great Italian restaurant which has opened up. It's your kind of place. It looks dirty and gross but the food is fucking impeccable." Of course Dan then genuinely smiles. He had almost forgot he told Charlie about his preferred restaurants.

"You got to be careful with what you eat." Dan gulps as he feels a new type of responsibility on his shoulders weighing him down.

"Check you out. Father of the year already!" Dan shakes his head, still looking very pale in his face, while Charlie nods hers with a helpless smile.

"I'm going to go to the kebab place next door then."

"There's no way your sneaking a kebab into a shitty restaurant." Charlie shrugs.

"Wanna bet?" They both laugh, knowing for certain that Charlie is the type of person to try the impossible.
