Pidge:\Mind\Exposition)_  My name is Katie Holt, AKA "Pidge" Mission: Brother and Father abducted by Aliens. Journeyed to space to rescue them, joining the Paladins of Voltron. People are... different for me. I'm better with computer.

But I've made some great friends along the way. Coran is one of my closest. He always makes me laugh when I need it and teaching me so much about the vast universe.. and some of its true! But he's been captured and I will do anything to rescue him. And to do that, I need the Yalexian Pearl. I was told we would find answers in the desert.

As they flew across the desert with nothing but just more piles of sand everywhere they look

Hunk: Anyone else tire-

"NO." The whole team blurts out.

Hunk: Okay. Just asking. It's been awhile since we've been.. you know ... not fighting or adventuring or anything. Just more and more desert! I'm bored, Kai say something!

"...Why is this place so familiar to me..." Kai mutters out loud while staring at the area.

Shiro: What was that Kai?

Kai: N-no it was nothing...

Keith: Hunk. Do think we have it bad? At least our life force wasn't sucked OUT to fuel an entire planet. Princess Allura still haven't fully healed.

She called out as everyone started to landed in front of the tall, pyramid like structure and then went out of find answers.

Hunk: It's massive! So inside is where we'll find this Sphinx guy that'll tell us where the pearl is?

Just then the whole entire structure transformed into a golden mechanic Sphinx. As it stands tall on all of its four legs as it hovers over them. It's even taller than the black lion as well.

Everyone: WHOA!

Kai: THAT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A SPHINX!!!

'I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that...' "I am the Great Universal Sphinx! Why have you disturbed me?!" The moving statue shouted out.

Lance: Wow!

Hunk:*hides behind Kai* "Gulp"

Pidge: We're looking for the Yalexian Pearl. We we're told you could help us find it. We need it rescue our friend.

Sphinx: I am a repository for great research. I have been analyzing life through out the cosmos for millions deca-phoebs, of course I know where the pearl is. However I don't know whether you are worthy of the information. Tell me who is the most knowledgeable amongst you?
