『18』

-CHAPTER 18 -

They formed Voltron and made it out of the space pocket to punch the robots face the causing its blast to shoot upwards instead the ship. The space fold disappeared with a blink of an eye later but it made the castle and the base now exposed. But a small ship came out of the base then started to fly away from the team and the beast.

Coran: There goes Ulaz....

He mumbles as the everyone turned around to see him go.

Allura: I knew we should never trust a Galra....

Kai:.....

    Voltron continues to fight off the robot that looks more hideous than the last one. Keith and Pidge directly fires their lasers at it with was effective. Yet the robot didn't seemed damage and continues to suck in more crystals.
Pidge: He's loading in more ammo!

Lance: This looks like when the lunch lady caught Hunk in the cafeteria room eating those cupcakes! And he didn't even care!

Hunk: I THOUGHT WE SAID NOT TO TELL ANYONE ABOUT THAT!

They quickly moved away from the robots red blasts and but instead ended up hitting the clusters. Causing many small explosions that made a chain reaction. They tried to move out of the way but suddenly felt a strong pulling force behind them and saw the robot trying to suck them towards it.

Kai: Lets hope we won't be eaten like a-

Hunk: SPACE TACO!

   Voltron puts its feet in the sides of the robots mouth  to avoid getting sucked in... or eaten

Shiro: Can't ... get... free...

He grunted but Keith thought other wise.

Keith: I'll make him back off!

He growled and to formed a dagger from his Red lions hand. Then he jabbed the dagger on the robot causing it to cry in pain but luckily making giving them a chance to escape.

Shiro: We gotta keep some distance between us and that Beast.

They continued to fly away further from the robot but it shot more of its red blast, making the surrounding xanthorium crystals explode. They managed to get away but ended up getting sucked up once again. Hunk and Lance activated their reverse thrusters to try and pull the whole team away from the mouth of the robot.

Kai: Lance! Are you putting the thrusters at full speed!?

Lance: YES I'm burning thrusters at full capacity!!!

Kai: Well I can't tell. It's not making any difference!!!!

    They continued to be pulled in but just as they were near it's mouth a blue laser shot at the monster making an explosion which pushed Voltron away from the robot.

Allura: Is everyone alright?

She spoke as the castle ship flew close to them.

Kai: Alive yes... alright no.

A second later the robot went in front of the castle and started sucking in xanthorium crystals, making them explode on the castles barrier defenses as they were being pulled towards the monster.
Keith: It's going for the castle!

He shouted and Pidge joined in.

Pidge: We need someone to stop its tractor beam!

Shiro: I have an idea. Pidge form shield.
A large shield formed on the green lion's hand and Voltron flew over the robot. Then lodged the shield in the monsters mouth, stoping the suction.
