Avengers Academy

Part 2: Detention

You and James are the only ones in detention. You keep messing with James by using your magic until he snaps "What?!" You shrug as you quickly get to your feet "Nothing. I thought that since you got me in here I will annoy you." He groans and pulls out a device from his bag. He puts it on his arm before turning it on.

It lights up to be a hologram shield that looks identical to Captain America's shield "Mess with me again and you got yourself a fight." You push up your sleeves "I haven't had a proper one in weeks!"

Deadpool walks in yelling "Hold on! Wait!" He sits down and pulls out some popcorn "Ok! Go for it!" You both look at him with question "Aren't you supposed to stop us?" He shrugs "I'm the substitute. Your other teacher went 'missing'."

You shrug and go to punch James. He uses his shield to block you and punches you in the stomach. You grab his hand as he does and throw him on his back. You go to punch him again until a red power pushes you both apart. You hit the wall but quickly get back up to see Scarlet Witch "Deadpool get out now. As for you two, if you keep fighting it will buy you a week of detention."

You both sit back in your seats as Deadpool runs out. Scarlet Witch sighs "I'm going to find your teacher. Don't fight." She leaves you two alone when James laughs "You're definitely not like any of the other kids here. You definitely don't seem to fall for my charm."

You roll your eyes "What charm? I think the most charming thing about you is your related to Captain America." He says threatening "Don't mention him! I already have a lot of pressure on me to turn out just like him."

You back off "Yeah I can see that would be a problem. I heard you've had some trouble with the police?" He nods "Yeah, a few times. Nothing too serious. Though it seems to attract more girls."

You roll your eyes "Desperate! So tragic." He changes the subject dramatically "So What's your deal? You don't really fit in with this crowd. Why are you here?" You lean back in your chair "My father threaten to take my magic away from a month if I didn't." He laughs "I didn't think that was possible."

You shrug and go to say something when a few students file into the room. You both look up at them. James glares at the leading girl "Ava, what do you want?" She gives a warm smile "James, why so mean? I think you should be much nicer especially to me!"

One of the girls speaks up "Ava, we're here for (y/n)." She nods and turns her attention towards you "I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet! I'm Ava Banner. That is Anya Corazon and Sophia Barton."

You nod "I'm (y/n) but I'm pretty sure you already know that though." She smiles "I do. I heard you were trouble and heard you were crushing on my man. So I do have to warn you that if you get in my way we will have a problem and problems have a life like hell here."

You bust out laughing causing her to look confused to her girls. You gain your senses again "Alright Regina, let me tell you this. Based on how ethical your father is I know you don't have that hulk thing apart of you. So, if you so much look at me wrong I will not hesitate to send you across New York. No magic needed, I have the strength of an Asgardian darling. So next time when you come to threaten someone, come with some sort of force behind it."

She huffs trying to come up with a comeback but ends up storming off with her girls following shortly behind her. James applauds you "I'm glad you have the sense to stand up to her. She's terrible."

You smile "Yeah, but trust me I've handled worse things than a stuck up girl. Hey, what did she mean by 'her man'?"

He sighs "I dated her last year before I realized how terrible of a person she was." He changes the subject "Hey, do you want to get out of here?" You shrug "How do you plan on doing that?" He stands up and walks out the door "Like this." You laugh "Alright smartass."

He leads you out the school and to his motorcycle "Want to go for a ride?" You nod your head "Hell yeah, just let me change." He nods, waiting for you to leave but you use your magic to alter your clothes and change right there "Ready!" He shrugs "I think you use your magic a little much but hey what do I know." He helps you on his motorcycle and tells you to hold onto him. He starts up his motorcycle. You wrap your arms around his waist. He does a wheelie before flying down the streets of New York.
