To save up your energy James would not allow you to heal him anymore. They wouldn't touch you but you knew if you stepped out of line they would take it out on James and you couldn't do that to him. After one night of doing this, they brought him back with blood everywhere. You scream at Ava "Why?! You are a bit$h but I never thought you would cross this line!" The man leaves before she laughs "I have a reason. I'm not that bad." You yell back "What reason would drive you to do this?!"
She looks angrily at you "You took my boyfriend!" Your mouth drops at her reason "YOU ARE DOING THIS OVER ME HANGING OUT WITH YOUR EX BOYFRIEND?!" She nods "You took all my chances with getting back with him!" You yell back "So you help torture him?!" She shrugs "Payback I guess." You think about the new guy "What about the guy you're dating now?" She shakes her head "He's just a pawn in my plan."
You laugh hysterically "You're plan is terrible, flawed, and going to fall apart as soon as my father finds us." She shakes her head "After you get me to your father's vault, I won't need to worry about plans anymore." The guy enters "Ava, let's go. I think we've had enough today." She blows you a kiss "Till tomorrow then!" You look to James and start healing him when he tries to stop you "You can't! You have to save it for the vault." You shake your head "I will be fully charged by tomorrow. Let me."
He Lets you before pulling you in for a kiss. This time you don't fight it. You kiss him back as he pulls you closer. He breaks the kiss "You didn't blast me this time." You laugh "I don't think you could take one right now." He rolls his eyes "You know you could admit I'm a good kisser." You tease him "Really, you a good kisser? Why would I lie?" He smirks "It looks like I need to show you again."
He pulls you in for another kiss. (Time skip brought to you by Chris Evans picking you up on a motorcycle to take you to your first date)
The day has come where you will lead them to the vault. The guy comes to take you out when you use your best tricks on him "You know for someone so smart, you really are dumb." James looks at you weird as you talk to the guy. The guy stops unlocking the cell "What do you mean?" You laugh "You're gullible to believe that Ava loves you or even likes you. She will leave you once you give her what she wants."
He yells "You're playing with me! Stop!" You act offended "Darling, I would never tell a lie. I am not my father. But let me give you some free dating advice. Beat her to it." Ava walks in "Time to go." He looks at you one last time before they teleport you and James to a deserted warehouse. You stay close to James as you go to the center of the place before starting to use your magic to bring the vault out of the ground "There now let us go."
She opens it and grabs a weapon before smiling at it. She looks at the golden weapon before turning it on the other masked assassin. He looks at her with hurt "No, what are you doing?" She sneers "I've had to deal with you long enough, time to break this up." She tried to fire but nothing happened. You laugh "Darling, you honestly thought I bring you to the real vault?"
The guy goes to punch her but she teleports away. They start fighting. You immediately take the chance to open a portal. You get it open before allowing James to go ahead. They realize you guys are getting away. Ava grabs a knife from the vault before throwing it at you. You jump through the portal and arrive at the Avenger's Headquarters where Ed is yelling for someone to get a medic for James. You laugh happily that you escaped. You rush up to James and help him by healing him.
Ed smiles to you until he looks to your side before his eyes grow wide. James sees this and looks at you before grabbing you "Don't look down. Look at my eyes." You look at his cool blue eyes before your father comes into the room and sees you. He starts yelling "(y/n)! Oh gods!" You start to feel dizzy but mentally push it off. He grabs you and forces you to lay down "I'm fine dad. Help James."
He shakes his head "No! We need to get you to Asgard!" You shake your head before you start coughing. You cover your mouth and when you move it away you see blood "What...?" You look down and see the knife in your side. You know the knife well. The poison on it could kill a human instantly. You start feeling the pain before you start coughing intensely with blood coming out. Your vision becomes blurry "Why does this always happen?"
Before you collapse to the ground. Your dad pulls out the knife causing you to scream at the top of your lungs. Ed and James get to your side before you start feeling everything become numb. You start crying as the pain becomes worse "I'm scared James." He takes your hand before giving it a small squeeze "You're going to be ok! I'm here. Just breathe." You nod as he tries to breathe with you. Your dad pulls out a knife from his hand "This is going to hurt." You nod before he goes in and digs deep.
You nearly crush James' hand as you scream at the top of your lungs. Your dad pulls out a fragment of steel before opens a portal and pulls out a bottle of something "Drink!" You take it without question. As you start to finish it, you feel yourself become tired "I think I'm going to rest now." James starts yelling at you before you permanently close your eyes and fade into a permanent sleep.
(lol just kidding! Gotcha! What really happened) You fall asleep with James holding you close to him.
