High on adrenaline, you quickly react as the bullets start trailing you. James knows best to get out of your way. Even with the gas still remaining in your lungs, you're not going to let them take you down so easy. You go to blast the soldiers when the metal floors underneath you quickly flies up around both your hands. Trying your best to fight off the metal sheets that are attacking you, you notice that they're not just attacking you but James and Ed too. The metal knocks you to the ground quickly with a loud thud.
The bullets ceasefire as you all hit the ground one after another. The metal wraps around you tightly before proving you up. You struggle to get out until a guard slips something on your neck. A small chained necklace lays gently on your neck before glowing emerald green. You go to blast the metal away when you realize, you don't have your magic anymore "Well this is convenient for you Red Skull!" The soldiers make way as Red Skull storms onto the platform with the twins not too far behind him. Their eyes glow a bright red.
Red skull lets out a burst of laughter that could be only described as nails on a chalkboard. He walks over to you "I prepared well." He changes direction quickly before looking over James "Ahhh...the great Captain America's son." He turns to his guards "How long until the Avengers will be here?" He replies quickly "4 minutes." His oily red skin stretches into a smile "Excellent! I will get my revenge when I take the life of the most precious thing in his life! Knife?" A guard hands him a knife as he holds it to James' neck.
A high pitch scream leaves you as it echoes off the walls. Ed grunts as the metal goes through his suit as he yells at Red Skull to stop. Ideas pop into your head as you frantically try to save him in your disabled state "Red Skull, kill me!" He turns his head slightly to entertain the idea "Now why would I do that? I do not hate your father. I don't care for you either, you're just a nuisance. This is more satisfying than any kill I've ever had."
James grunts as he tries not to move his neck much "Newsflash buddy...my father doesn't care for me. You would probably be...doing him a favor." Never have you ever been more scared of a sound, the quinjet's loud jets blast overhead. Red Skull starts dragging the blade of the knife slowly across his skin, causing him to start bleeding. James looks to you, the only person he can see clearly in eyesight. A single tear forms in his eye, he's scared to die. Your heart races as you blurt out suddenly "I HAVE AN INFINITY STONE!"
Every breath in the room pauses at your words. Red Skull stops to your relief "Where?" You try to stall the best you can "It's in a pocket dimension. I need to use my magic to access it." He eyes you suspiciously, unsure to trust you "That is a lie." Trying your best to keep your cool, you talk in a level tone "No it's not. If you want, you could kill me if I don't." He looks to the sky to see the Avengers falling when he moves towards you making a risky bet.
They reach the ground before every weapon imaginable it points at him with demands to drop the knife. He moves it to your neck, though you are not worried "Darling, I might not have my magic but I'm still Asgardian. Your little butter knife will do me no harm." He slides it quickly causing you to start bleeding. The full weight of the situation hits you quickly "Well, you came prepared." Your father points his staff at his head "Unhand them this instance!"
The twins let you from the metal as he starts dragging you towards them "Don't follow. The only reason any of them are alive is that (y/n) has an infinity stone." The twins light lit touches you both before disappearing into thin air. The metal around James and Ed falls apart. James yells to your father, Loki, quickly "Since when did (y/n) get an infinity stone?! I thought no one had them!" With pure terror on his face, he turns to him slowly "You're right. No one has them."
