Steve I wake up to a knocking on the window. I look over and see my girl sleeping. I get up and throw on some shorts and look out and I see nothing. I decide to go back to bed. I close my eyes.
"Wakey wakey Rogers".
I open my eyes and jump falling off the bed.
"Stark what the hell. Ever hear of knocking?"
"Well one we tried and two the door was unlocked. Not safe if you ask me but I guess you two had other plans".
"Tony seriously?"
"Hey not my fault. And I won the bet".
"What bet?"
"How long it would take you two to bed each other".
"Really?"
"Yes now I suggest you get up and probably wake up sleeping beauty over here".
Tony walked out of the room. I got up and shut the door.
"Hey sweetheart. Wake up doll".
She was still asleep.
I stared kissing her neck and she smiled.
"Morning Captain."
"So apparently the groups all here and Tony was in this bedroom".
"Ugh he disturbed our cuddling".
"I know doll. We gotta get dressed so we can meet them".
We got dressed and headed downstairs with me carrying her in my arms.
"Awww sleeping beauty is awake".
"Bite me Stark."
"You disturbed her sleeping".
"Anyway so we have a mission to do and it's probably going to take a few days", said Tony.
I look at Athena and she looks at me with sadness in her eyes.
"When do you guys leave", she asked.
"Well technically we need to leave now".
"Oh, well I guess you gotta save the world".
"I suggest you go back Cap".
I headed up stairs with Athena behind me and she sat on the bed while I packed what I had including my suit.
"It'll be just a few days doll. I'll call whenever I can sweetheart".
"I know and Fury will probably want me back to cracking codes and such".
"You're such a smart girl."
We walked downstairs and outside.
"I'll be back sweetheart. I promise. I love you doll".
"I love you too. Be safe and keep me updated".
"I will".
We kissed for a few minutes and I got into the car and she stood outside as we drove off.
