"What do you want to be?" She looked at me.

She looked genuinely curious, not just because she wanted to help me finish the task.

"A radio DJ," I said, my mood was already brightening up.

"Why?" She drew a timeline and started filing in the first column.

Her handwriting was neat and cute.

"I can talk for many hours and get paid for it," She laughed at my response.

I would never get sick of her laugh.

"Okay I don't want to do this anymore," I leaned back onto the wall.

She chuckled yet again.

"Why? Come on," She tugged on the yellow hoodie I was wearing.

"I'm too tired," I shrugged.

She constantly laughed at the things I said.

My heart was beating at an unhealthy rate. It seems as if I'd fallen for her all over again.

"Come on Dahyun, I won't be here the whole time to push you to do these things," She shrugged.

"What?" My heart already started to crumble down.

"When the orientation ends, I'll only be coming back once a week, I won't be here daily like you," She gave a weak smile.

I could tell she was disappointed, but I was very sure I was the one feeling worse.

What could I do? Cry and hold her back? We weren't even close enough to call each other friends.

"Oh, that's sad," And I meant what I said with all my heart.

It was sad. Heartbreaking. Disappointing.

Sad...

"Yeah, I've only been here a few days but I love the lifestyle," I could tell she was looking at me but I couldn't help but stare down.

"Oh no, I've gone off topic," She giggled.

"Look what you did!" She teased, gently smacking my arm.

How cute.

I couldn't help but smile whenever she laughed. It was just so, so contagious.

"Okay," I was dead tired, but the fact that she was right in front of me laughing completely. changed my mood.

"Tell me more about what you want in future, I'll fill in the boxes," She looked at me, uncapping the marker.

"You,"

"What?"

I didn't even notice it came out of my mouth.

Stupid Kim Dahyun.

"You should put the marker cap on the paper, it might get lost,"

She laughed again. Louder this time.

"What kind of logic is that," She chuckled.

"Why do you keep laughing at everything I say," I was genuinely curious.

"Because you're so funny,"

My heart dropped. What was this feeling? I wanted to stop time at that moment forever.

"Because I like you," With a tiny cute accent on the "like" and I could've sworn my heart beat a hundred times faster than it already was.
