Lecture finally ended, I was sitting beside Chaeyoung, pretending to be focused on the phone game we were playing.

Sana never left my mind.

She stood by the door, crowded by bunch of people bidding their goodbyes to her.

It was really it.

I knew I had to do something before I spent the rest of my life regretting.

I had to say a final goodbye.

Slowly, the crowd dissipated, Sana was almost alone.

I put the phone down and quickly walked up to Sana, afraid she would leave.

"I thought you forgot about me," She laughed.

You thought of me.

"I would never forget about you," I smiled, a simple line that carried so much sincerity.

I lifted my hand to pat her head.

She didn't stop me this time, today seemed to be an exception because she was leaving, I guessed.

"I'll miss you lots," I sighed.

She made a sad face.

She didn't say anything to comfort me. She couldn't say something like "I'm not leaving" anyway.

"Sana! Let's go! Taehyung found this great ramen meal," Mina called out.

"Coming!" he turned and gave me a small, sad wave before leaving.

——

First week without Sana.

There was nothing to look forward to anymore.

Lecture wasn't as fun as I remembered.

The excitement was gone.

I turned to the other side of the lecture hall where Sana and her friends would have sat.

Tears couldn't help but well up in my eyes.

Sana was someone I had been crazy over for months now.

The person my life had revolved around was suddenly gone.

The emptiness hit me again, twice as hard as when I saw her leave.

Taehyung and Mina were still there, talking by themselves.

I seemed to miss Sana more.

It made sense though, they weren't the ones in love with her to begin with.

I wish Sana knew. I wish she knew how treasured she was.

All I could do was hope that she had a happy life in Japan.
