Family Care

So, this takes back to my first ToG book where most of the male characters have children. Good? Okay! The children are toddlers!

Rowan:
Family. How would Rowan describe his? Hmm, chaotic in a way, but also very quiet. It's not like Ronin caused too much trouble, it's the opposite. But if his cousins are with him, oooh you better keep your eyes on him and his cousins.

"Rowan! Have you seen Ronin?!"

But when they're not with Ronin...thank. The. Gods.

Rowan has never been more thankful than ever when there's only one child to care for instead of a group. He's starting to wonder how his parents, uncles, and aunts took care of him and his cousins.

"Daddy, can we have them over again? Please?"

Oh, no.

Gavriel:
Leana tends to "explore" a lot with Aedion's encouragement. You scolded him for encouraging her the last time he did and Leana has gone missing! Gavriel had to search for her for hours before he found her!

She someone shifted into a lion cub and couldn't figure out how to shift back, that's why she stayed out for so long until Gavriel found her.

"Now, Leana. I understand you're curious but going out like that without telling anyone is possibly the most frightening thing to do to a parent. Even though Aedion is the one who said you can do it, don't."

Aedion:
"No, no, no, no, no! Don't put that in your mouth!"

Zade tends to put whatever that's interesting to him in his mouth. No matter how many times Aedion tells him not to.

Especially when they're outside.

Even though Aedion holds Zade's hand Zade is always finding stuff to put in his mouth.

"AEDION ASHRYVER! IS THAT A DAGGER IN ZADE'S MOUTH!"

Fenrys:
Twins=double trouble. For some reason, they go everywhere together. So if you lose one the other is most likely with the lost one. Thankfully, Fenrys can pick up which direction they went off to with that nose of his.

More often than not, Fenrys would come back with the collar of the shirts the twins wore in his mouth so that he doesn't lose them again.

As much as you and Fenrys hate it, you both send them to the corners.

Lorcan:
No, no, no. Not Miss. Blake. No. She's never like that. She normally chases after Lorcan and asks if she can come. Sometimes he lets her, most times he doesn't.

She would throw a fit if he says no, he only brings her back inside with a look saying, "You know why I can't bring her with me" and leaves just like that.

He would come back with little souvenirs or gifts to make it up, though.

Chaol:
Chaol sighs as he watched Kato threw another fit in one day. He doesn't know why his son keeps throwing one, maybe it's because Dorian's been spoiling Kato.

Chaol picked Kato up, trying to get him to calm down. He spotted you in the corner, trying to focus on writing down some new herbs that you discovered.

Dorian, what did you you do?!

Dorian:
Luna was crying! The poor boy doesn't know what to do????

"Y/N! What do I do?!"

Tells him to take her to Chaol so he did. Turns out, Chaol's own son, Kato, was crying too. The two children stopped crying when they saw each other.

Ah, hell no!

Sartaq:
Zachariah was on Kadara's back again. He wanted to go flying with his father. Sartaq got on Kadara's back and Kadara took flight.

Zachariah squealed with joy as Kadara flew making a soft smile appear on Sartaq's face. He hasn't smiled in so long, especially after the death of his beloved. Perhaps he can heal overtime.

Sam:

Sari has been chewing on a lot of things. She's chewed on the legs of chairs, tables, hilts of weapons (that Sam had locked away and put on a high shelf) and she is currently chewing on your favorite book.

Sam took the book quickly and handed Sari a chewing toy instead and she gurgled with happiness and chewed on that instead making Sam sigh.

As much as he loved Sari, he really wished she'd grow up faster so he didn't need to deal with her chewing problem any further.
