The Moving Painting

Note: yes, yes. I am back from vacation and it was great! The only bad part is that I am so tired and exhausted from the drive back home.

                                               Dorian sat on the ground, watching the painting in front of him move around. He found an abandoned building when he was young and went inside to explore and he found this. He never told anyone about it, Chaol included, and if anyone knew then his father will know about it too and destroy it. So, Dorian kept it as a secret, choosing to enjoy the moving painting himself.

                                                It was never the same painting. One day it can be a girl and a boy dancing and sharing a kiss, the next it could be a knight saving his lady, and another could be a mother mourning for her child's death. 

                                                 There is no signature, there is nothing that indicates who had brought this painting here and who cast magic to allow the painting to change. 

                                                  Until one day. 

                                                  Dorian found Aelin standing in front of the painting with another girl. The girl's h/c hair is soaked with paint as is her clothes and skin. 

                                                 "Do you want to move it back to your house, Y/n?" Aelin asked the girl. 

                                                   The girl, Y/n, nodded. 

                                                   "I do," said Y/n, "It's my pride and joy, Aelin. I'd like for it to come back home with me." 

                                                    Aelin finally introduced Dorian to Y/n, the queen knew Dorian is watching her and her friend. The two waved bye to the king and leaves him alone. Dorian admired the painting one last time then leaves too, accepting that he will never see it again. 

                                                    What caught him off guard is seeing Y/n talking to Nesryn and Chaol and four guards handling the painting. 

                                                    "A parting gift," Y/n explained when Dorian approached Y/n, "Aelin asked me if I wanted to go to Terresan with her. I accepted and wanted to leave The Change with you." 

                                                      The Change. It's fitting. Dorian waved goodbye to the leaving court then went back inside his room and looked up at The Change. 

                                                       Don't worry, Y/n. The Change is in good hands. 

I'm sorry this is short and a little strange(?). I'm a bit exhausted from the drive back home from my vacation.
