Yelling and shouting and insults were thrown across the room as a large group of people arguing over something.

"ENOUGH!" A woman in robes shouts, "I DEMAND ORDER!"

The room quieted and the woman sat down in her seat and everyone followed.

"We are here to discuss the Great War and the betrayal of the Fairies." The woman said.

"Indeed, Consul Penhallow." A man agreed.

The Great War. What is it? Of course, it is in the name. A war against the Shadowhunters and the Endarkened and the Fairies of the Seelie Court. The Clave and the Council are now discussing the outcome of it as the Shadowhunters have come out on top of the war because of Jace Herondale, Clary Fray (Fairchild), Alec Lightwood, Isabelle Lightwood, and Simon Lewis (who, sadly, is unavailable).

The group discussed and discussed what the punishment should be for the Fairies of the Seelie Court, it was decided that the Cold Peace will come into play meaning the Fairies are no longer able to be in contact with any of the Shadowhunters. That only leaves one thing.

"What about Mark and Helen Blackthorn? Y/n Herondale included."

Jace's head snapped towards a girl's direction, she stood next to Helen Blackthorn, Aline Penhallow, and the rest of the Blackthorn children and Emma Carstairs. Y/n Herondale's dark hair fell into her golden eyes as she locked eyes with Jace. Despite not knowing her well, Jace was able to read not to interfere just yet.

There was to be a vote to decide what to do with Helen and Y/n. Because Helen's mother is, or was, part of the Seelie Court she is to be sent to Wrangle Island to study about the wards there. As for Y/n, since she is not just a Shadowhunter, she is also a Fae daughter to a very powerful High Lord of a court in a different land, she is to be sent there and to never return.

The Blackthorn children immediately started to protest, refusing to let their last adult figure leave. First Mark, then Helen, and now Y/n, too? That is unacceptable!

It was too late to go back now, the vote has been said and there is no changing it.

"Y/n!" The girl stopped and looked around, spotting her half-brother running over to her with Clary, Isabelle, and Alec close behind.

"I-I never knew you were a Herondale."

She sighs, "I know. I meant to tell you a while ago but I just never had the chance to tell you."

"We'll fight for you. And Helen," Clary said, "We will fight for you two to return back home."

Y/n looked down at the ground then back up.

"Thank you, Clary." Y/n said softly.

"Mark......what was he to you?" Jace carefully asked, Y/n frowned at him.

                                                      "He.......he's my lover, why?"

Jace handed Y/n something over. It was a Blackthorn ring.

"We passed by him while going through Fairy. He asked to give this to you if you loved him and if you did, you'd wear it until he comes back. He will come back, Y/n, I know it. He won't just give up on you like this."

Y/n slid the ring on, feeling closer to Mark in a way.

"Thank you, Jace. Until we meet again."

Clary, Alec, and Isabelle left, leaving the two half-siblings alone.

                                                        "H-how are you a Herondale, Y/n?"

"That's a bit of a long story, actually. We have the same father, Stephen, but different mothers. How our father met my mother is a question I will never get the answer to. I was raised in my mother's homeland by her High Lord whom I called "father" as a child. A war broke out and he immediately sent me to Brother Zachariah and a warlock named Tessa Gray, from there, I was raised by Tessa and Brother Zachariah would visit every now and then. After a while, I was sent to the LA Institute where I met Mark and Helen. And, well, if I kept going on it will take ages to finish."

                                                        Jace nodded.

"Well, I suppose this is goodbye then." Y/n nodded.

                                                        "Indeed it is."

The portal opened up, Y/n stared at it then back to see the Blackthorn children and Emma huddled together. Helen and Aline had already left and said their goodbyes. Now, it's time for her to say goodbye too.

"Jules," Y/n grabbed the now oldest Blackthorn child by the shoulders, "I want, no, need you to be strong. I am so, so sorry that this had to happen to you. I know you and Emma will be able to take care of yourselves but the children can't without you. I know I'm asking a lot from you, Jules, but you are all they have left. I'm so sorry I have to leave."

"I love you, Julian Blackthorn. Don't you ever forget that."

And that was it, the portal shut behind her. When she stumbled out of the portal, strong and calloused hands caught her. She looked up and saw a familiar face.

                                                          "Hello, Father."
