A small child squeaked when a horse fell right by their side and burst into a full run. The Keep, it's so close. The child managed to slide and made it in before the doors to the Keep shut.

                                                They lost their parents during the panic as the people of Anielle. They sniffled, close to bursting into tears, praying to whatever god that is listening to let their parents live.

                                                  Yrene Westfall passed by groups of people then stopped when she saw a small child wrapping their arms around themself. It was clear that the child was lost and scared and very close to crying.

                                                   Yrene quietly walked over to the small child, bending down so that she was at the same level as them.

                                                     "Are you scared?" She softly asked them, they nodded. "Do you need a hug?" She continued, they nodded again and Yrene opened her arms for the child to hug her.

                                                        With gentle coaxing, Yrene learned the child's name is Y/n L/n. The L/n family has strong ties with House Westfall. Yrene immediately went around, looking for Chaol. She spotted her husband speaking with Sartaq and Nesryn.

                                                       Chaol spotted Yrene and excused himself. He strode over to his wife, planting a soothing kiss to her forehead then noticing Y/n hiding behind Yrene. Their big, wide e/c eyes started up at Chaol in wonder.

                                                        Chaol looked back up at his wife, he got the silent message.

                                                        There is a high chance of their parents not making it out alive.

                                                          "I felt it! I felt the kick!" Y/n giggled, pressing their cheek against Yrene's stomach eagerly making Yrene laugh at the eagerness.

                                                             This was her new life now. Happily married to Lord Chaol Westfall, a new house, an adoptive child, and her in-laws coming to visit soon and perhaps live with her little family of three(soon to be four).
