                                                           Captain Chaol couldn't decide whether he can keep his eye on Prince Dorian or the Prince's cousin, Y/n from Meah. Unlike his brother, Y/n is rather a kind and gentle soul yet a powerful commander on the battlefield and Chaol admired that about the young commander. Chaol blinked then realized he had lost sight of the young commander making him panic. 

                                                           Meanwhile, General Aedion Ashryver shoved Commander Y/n Havilliard up against a wall, kissing him furiously. 

                                                           "You-" Aedion gently bit Y/n's lower lip, "Have-" another furious kiss "No idea how much I've missed you." Y/n chuckled, gently tugging on Aedion's golden hair. 

                                                            "I can tell." 

                                                              This little relationship between Aedion and Y/n must be kept as a secret from Y/n's uncle, the King, for both of their sakes. The two shared a quick kiss before splitting, Y/n returned back to the panic Captain and worried cousin. Y/n and Dorian returned back to their quarters. 

                                                                "You seem distracted," a soldier commented to Aedion, "See a girl you're interested in, sir?" Aedion chuckles. 

                                                                 "Not even close."

                                                                   Aelin held a sword up against a young man's neck, eyes trained on the man's own eyes. Those eyes looked very familiar to Aelin and realized those eyes were also Dorian's. 

                                                                   "You're Aelin, aren't you?" The man realized, "Aedion told me all about you, he was the one who told me about this apartment. Please, I want to save him as much as you want to save him. He's my mate and I am his, he's marked me as I have marked him." 

                                                                     Aelin lowered the sword. 

                                                                    "Then let's get to work."
