Despite you hating the parties your mother threw, you attended it anyway. You could tell Dorian loathed it too, you can see it in his eyes. He spotted you staring at him, your eyes met and you simultaneously sighed.
Even though he was a few years older than you, you both had an excellent relationship. You spotted a familiar guard looming in the darkness and a smile appeared on your face. He started to move outside, towards the balcony. And you ran towards him, he shut the door behind you and you immediately felt powerful arms wrap around your waist.
Chaol Westfall pressed his lips against your neck, inhaling your sweet scent.
