                                              Oh, how much Aedion hated going to war. Especially if it means leaving you and Zade home alone.

                                              Aedion tucked Zade back into bed, he needed to remember to get Zade a bigger bed when he comes home. The boy has grown drastically in the last few months.

                                              He blew out the lit candle then quietly shut the door behind him. He walked out of the house and found you waiting for him with his steed and sword belt in hand.

                                             Aedion took the belt from you, buckling it on.

                                            "Do you really have to go?"

                                             Aedion sighs. She hated it when he had to leave for war.

                                                    "I know you hate it when I leave, but I can't just abandon the Bane and let them go to war by themselves."

                                                     You rested your forehead against his chest.

                                                      "I know."

                                                      Aedion cupped his hands against your cheek, pressing his lips against your forehead.

                                                       "I will return to you, I promise. Just wait for me."
