Shields are raised, the house was redesigned, paper work needs to be dealt with, I need to find sentries to guard not just the wallless border, but protect the people too, I need a count of how many people is in each town and village for taxes, I need to start training boys for their future lives as warriors and soldiers.

I quickly wrote down everything that needed my attention. It has come to my attention that my foolish brother, Tamlin, has not done anything after the battle with Hybern, and he refuses to do anything whatsoever. I took it upon myself to do it, to ensure that my people are safe and well and help them with what they need.

I kicked Tamlin out too, I couldn't handle his sulking and loathing. Some former sentries that served for Tamlin returned, willing to serve for me. A scout told me he saw Tamlin roaming the woods in his wolf form and that was fine with me.

I moved through the house, mumbling things to myself as I did. The house had life again as servants moved throughout the building, fixing, cleaning, and cooking up dinner.

Garren, my commanding sentry, stepped forward when he saw me.

"Milady," he greeted with a bow, "The High Lord of the Night Court is here. He wishes to see you immediately."

I heard the door to the balcony open and close then footsteps. The familiar scent of Rhysand filled my nose, I turned to face the male that I once saw as my brother.

"Hello, Rhys," I softly greeted, "You look well." I added

"You as well," Rhys commented, taking a seat and I took a seat across from him.

"What brings you to the Spring Court?" I curiously asked as Alis poured a two cups of tea. She bowed then silently left.

"I had heard the Spring Court was prospering again and came to see if Tamlin had gotten up from his ass and started doing work," Rhysand explained, "Only to find you doing all the work. What did you do to him, exactly? Kick him out?"

I had the tea cup raised to my lips when I lightly laughed at his question.

"How funny of you to guess correctly," I answered, taking a sip.

"You actually kicked him out?" Rhysand asked in surprise.

"Of course. He's nothing but poison nowadays. I only took control to help him rebuild the Spring Court, but he seems to be too lost to do it."

"Do you not blame my mate for this?"

Ah. Yes. Feyre Archeron. She was the main reason why the Spring Court had fallen.
