Jason chased Harley as she ran the roofs doing more gymnastics and acrobatics than patrolling, he was having difficulty as it seemed she was on a mission somewhere. "Where are we going Loony Tunes!?" He shouted breathlessly.

Harley looked to him and smiled, "Just try to keep up!" After a few more minutes they came to an old warehouse that looked silent and empty. The bubbly blonde slipped in a window with a laugh.

He followed and noticed the smile faces and hahahas all over the walls, an old hideout? Harley nodded, "Yep, you're thinking right. My old hideout. Joker didn't even know about it, it was my hiding spot after a good beating. It's also a good place to talk without the kids or Bruce or Damien hearing us Jason. Look, we have a problem with Althea. Shes not stupid and shes 14 almost 15 now, she deserves to be told the truth. Shes asking Jesse and hes sick of lying to her."

Jason's eyes widened and then hardened and darkened, "Tell her what? That we, all of us killed her psychotic dad while you were pregnant with her? That shes the biological daughter of a psychotic and homicidal clown? Yeah because shes already fucked up, let's push it." He roared.

Harley knew this was coming hence the privacy. "Listen babe, I get it but she knows theres something up. She knows you're prolly not her dad. Shes the same as told Jesse. Shes getting fucked with at school, shes made some.... unpleasant comments. We need to do something, she needs help now before she does dive off the deep end."

Jason's frown deepened, "Shes not going to do anything crazy, shes not stupid Harleen. She just needs to focus that rage somewhere, same as myself and you."

The inner psychiatrist in Harley told her he was wrong but she pushed her aside, "Do not call me Harleen. Fine, and how will you focus it? She's already made it clear shes not going to be a Bat. I'm sure as hell not handing a 14 year old a gun and letting her join us, I'm already irritated with J and Lucy putting tights on."

Jason shrugged, "Okay so we let her pick. She can do something she enjoys."

Sirens blared through the Narrows suddenly and Damien's voice broke into their ears, "Um guys you two might want to head to the docks." Harley and Jason looked at each other and took off without another word about their youngest.

Harley and Jason silently made their way to the roof of a warehouse overlooking where the police had congregated. There was a body under a white sheet as Harley used the night vision Bruce had given to her as an officer pulled the sheet back to a bloated alabaster face and tuffs of green hair. She gave a Yelp and fell into Jason, "Well, they found him. I can't believe they found him."

Jason patched over to the Batcave, "Uh, Bruce they found Joker." As the cops piled into cars and dispersed at order of Commissioner Gordon Harley and Jason watched in silence. Once Gordon was alone with Bullock he hollered seemingly to himself, "Harley can you please come down here and identify him?" Harley gulped and hopped off the building quickly joining the pair. She pulled the sheet back and nodded holding back vomit. There wasn't much left.

"That's him, that's his tattoo on his face and that's his chain I gave him." In a colder move than Gordon expect she yanked it off his neck and slipped it in her pocket. "Not like he will need it now."

Jason and Harley went to Jesse's house and let him know that they found The Joker before heading home. Harley was hoping to avoid Althea seeing a TV news conference before school. Joker was all but forgotten by the time she had gotten old enough to watch TV but Harley knew that she was screwed now, this was going to replay all his.... their capers. Harley walked into the kitchen and made a pot of coffee and than went to the liquor cabinet and pulled out a random bottle of whiskey pouring it generously into the coffee mug before pouring coffee in with it.
