A Wedding and a War

Once Harley told Selina she and Jason decided to do a spur of the moment wedding the brunette began plotting out a wedding in the Manor gardens. Lucy got ordained online to marry them and Althea, Ivy and Selina picked out red and black bridesmaids dresses. Ivy of course maid of honor and Jason had J, Damien and Dick were groomsmen. Bruce giving away Harley was the most meaningful to her. They made Helena ring bearer/flower girl.

The week flew by with Selina preparing everything as Harley and Jason went out patrolling more frequently which had become watching Althea and her crew. Lucy had hung up her cowl and was spending her time at Althea's club keeping an eye on her little sister's buisness.

The day of the wedding was finally here, and Harley had her girls except for Althea and Lucy upstairs with her while Jason was down in the cave with the guys.

Jason called Harley's phone as the stylist Selina had come in was curling her hair.

"Ahh, your daughters just showed up." He spoke annoyed into the phone.

Harley replied in confusion, "Oh my girls? What did they do?"

Jason groaned, "there are a dozen men now patrolling the grounds along with Ace and Johnny coming up with Althea and Lucy. Does she really need to bring and I quote, ' security '?"

Harley groaned, "I'll try to get rid of the goons outside, but I kinda want Frosty and Ace here." They said goodbye as the girls knocked and walked into their Mother's room.

"Hiya momma! I can't wait to see daddy make ya an honest woman!" Althea gleefully said as she walked in with Lucy snickering and waving behind her.

Harley side eyed her daughters, "Why do I have a garden of goons Allie?"

The green haired teen looked sheepish, "So ya haven't seen the news?"

Harley shook her head, "Preoccupied kiddo what did you do?"

Althea glanced at Lucy who took the moment to duck and leave the room to make sure Ace and Johnny didn't ' frighten Alfred '.

Althea looked at her hands and finally muttered, "I blew up the Iceberg Lounge."

Harley's eyes grew wide, "Oh no I didn't hear you correctly, Pengy's club??"

Althea nodded, "He tried cornering my men at the docks and stealing my arms. He ended up with half the delivery. So I showed him why you don't fuck with me."

Harley groaned and was silent. Lucy popped back in, "Allie, Ace has decided to stand outside the gates with Frankie, Bud and Lou. Frost is staying with you and the others are around the grounds but they were told not to be seen or heard."

Althea nodded, "I'm trusting them, most of them are Joker's former men. They know what failure leads to in this crew."

Harley watched her daughters silently, with a sudden realization that Lucy was no longer simply watching out for her kid sister and was part of this crew of misfits. Althea and Lucy changed into their dresses with Lucy in a long black dress with a white collar. As Althea changed into her dress Harley noticed odd knives strapped to her body and she was holding her old custom Beretta trying to figure out where to put it.

"No fucking guns at on my wedding party Althea Todd!! You too Lucy!" Althea groaned and put it in her bag with her street clothes and Lucy turned red and pulled out dual black Glocks adding them to the bag she shared with her sister as they both groaned,

"Yes momma."

MSelina fell into Ivy with laughter, "ya know it serves Harley right these two are wild. With everything she put us through with Joker she should get a taste of the stress!"
