8 Months and Ready To Pop

Jason walked out of the shower and saw Harley trying to get out of bed and laughed, "Need some help Loony Tunes?"

Harley frowned and cried out, "please, I'm so fat I'm stuck like a turtle on it's shell!!" Jason walked over and held his hands out to a very pregnant jester and helped her from the bed.

"Are you ready for the excitement of it all today? Selina has been barking orders at decorators and the catering crew for hours now." Jason laughed and continued, "it looks like a circus down there haha. Loony tunes, I think I spotted an elephant!"

Harley's eyes grew wide as she slipped on her slippers and waddled excitedly out of the bedroom to find Selina.

"Selina, did you get me a fucking elephant? I fucking love you bitch!" She shouted as she moved as fast as she could to her friend's laughter. She spotted the gorgeous brunette by the French doors leading outside from the ballroom.

Selina cooed, "Oh Harls, what circus is complete without one? Theres also clowns, carnival games with pregnancy twists, cotton candy machines, a trapeze act and all the food is circus food, a far more class of corndogs and popcorn but still. Oh, and a lot of alcohol for everyone but you haha."

Harley looked like an excited child until the last sentence where she pouted, "No fair, ha I'm the one who prolly needs a drink the most! This is above and beyond Kitty Cat, positively amazing!" She paused, "Now where is my elephant!"

Selina pointed into the yard just beyond the doors, "out there but you need to go get dressed first Harley. We start in an hour! You'll need to be the respectful guest of honor and greet your friends. And don't worry, I made Bruce swear not to take anyone to Arkham tonight. Ivy, Ed and possibly Ozzie should all be here. Um, I ran into Johnny he asked about you.... gave me his number for you incase you wanted to reach out. He had a message, 'He gets it, they all did when they found your mess. You didn't have to run from him, you're like a kid sister and you know it.'

Harley gave a warm smile and nodded, "hes right, I knew he wouldn't hold a grudge. I've kept an eye on J's old territories, Johnny took it all over and its calmer. It's more organized and classier. I always thought he would make a better boss than J. Told him so too, less than a month before I killed J. Give me the number, I'm gonna invite him today. " Harley shrugged. Selina handed Harley a piece of paper with the 10 digits neatly written in Johnny's handwriting.

Harley ran upstairs, eager to freak Frosty boy out. He was never gonna believe she was gonna be a mom again.

Harley decided to quickly shower and change into the long black dress with red diamond shaped sequins all over the chest and sprinkled down the sides. She curled her hair and applied a smokey eye and cherry red lipstick before reaching for her phone. Harley was nervous, unsure when it was a one on one conversation how this call would go. Grasping some courage she picked up her phone and quickly dialed in Johnny's number listening to it ring.

"Frost speaking." A gruff voice announced on his end.

"Oh Frosty, I've missed your seriousness!!" Harley giggled into the phone.

Johnny's tone changed immediately, "Harley!? Oh, how are you kid? You doing ok? You don't have to hide from me! Please tell me you're ok?" He sounded happy and hopefully to talk to her.

Harley grinned ear to ear as she spoke, "Oh Johnny boy, I'm doing great! Gotta new man, new life and about to have 2 babies any day! I know I didn't but I was worried about the goons, you know I wasn't the nicest to them."

Johnny agreed, "Yeah... that's true." He had watched Harley play target practice with the goons. "So you're gonna be a mom?? Who's the lucky guy???"

Harley giggled "Jason Todd" Johnny took a sharp breath, "wow Harls... that's... it's a small world.... that's a great final joke on Jack."

Harley laughed, "Yeah, I suppose. It wasn't intentional. really. I love him. I love our unborns. It's crazy hes the total opposite of J. I'm really truly in love with someone who treats me amazing. Anyways!!! Frosty today is my baby shower, it's a circus at the Wayne Manor!! Haha, did I mention I live there with Jason and Bruce Wayne!?! How about you come to the biggest show of my life and be a friendly face??"

She sounded so hopeful, he knew he couldn't say no, "Yeah Harley, I'll be there." Johnny confirmed time time with her and hung up. He sat back in stunned thoughts, Harley sure is doing great for herself. He was truly happy for the young girl. She deserved to be happy. All she ever wanted was to worship a man who worshipped her.

Harley stood up from her seat and rushed downstairs to help Selina welcome people. The first to arrive early was Ivy, Eddie and Ozzie. Harley squealed in happiness they had all made it, "oh I'm so glad ya'll made it. A lot of these people are all here to celebrate with the Waynes, without knowing me at all. Or knowing Jason really either."

Selina tsked "Harley, these are the who's who of Gotham! They'll bring amazing gifts and beautiful bundles of cash. Haha, you need to relax and enjoy."

Ivy laughed as Eddie and Ozzie wandered outside together, "oh Harls, yes listen to Ms.Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous! Heaven forbid you make the Waynes look bad! I mean good lord, you're already not married!! People talk!!"

Harley roared with laughter, "Oh man, you sound just like Kitty Cat!"

Selina huffed and scolded Harley, "Do not let Ivy be a bad influence! Go eat some candy and play with your elephant!"

Harley pulled Ivy outside and simply said, "meet Penelope, my elephant. I just named her haha."

Ivy stared at the large animal and asked, "you're not gonna try to keep her are you?"

Harley shrugged, "why not? She likes me look!" The elephant has placed the tip of her trunk to Harley's large belly as if feeling for the babies to kick. "Awe Penelope!" She giggled.

Bruce stepped outside and said "Harls, Johnny Frost is here?" She squealed and wobbled quickly inside to see Frost.

"JOHNNY!!" Harley shouted as she wrapped her arms around the waist of the tall, muscular man. Johnny looked at her in shock. She had said she was pregnant but holy shit! "Wow Harley you look great... and holy shit pregnant!!"

A voice appeared behind them, "twins, we are having twins Frost." Jason walked around and shook his hand, "Jason, I don't think we met?" Johnny shook his hand and stumbled over words, "um yeah I ah... I uh fuck I'm no good at this." Jason roared in laughter trying to hide the flashback of pain. "No worries, no need to live in the past. Come in, have a beer. Let's get to know each other." Johnny nodded and handed Harley a card, kissing her cheek. "For the future." He simply said.

Harley took the card upstairs and sit it in her vanity returning to the party. She wanted that read in private.

Harley returned to the party in full swing. Ivy, Eddie and Ozzie hanging with Frost and Jason in a corner while Bruce and Selina entertained the normals. She smiled and walked to Jason and slipped an arm around him. The party was beautiful, the gifts spectacular, and the food amazing.

Harley and Jason waved off their friends who were the last to leave, Frost and Ivy hugging Harley tight. Frost spoke, "after the babies, come have a drink my treat. The Grin has changed but it's still fun!" He walked away. Harley smiled and shouted, "I'll be there!!" Ivy followed Frost out.

Jason kissed Harley's forehead and wrapped his arms around her, "did you have fun my loony tunes?"

Harley smiled and nodded before frowning and grabbing her stomach. "Oh, oh J."

Water splashed her feet, "at least they waited til the party was over, right?"
