Chapter Five

As soon as I left the office, I ran as fast as I could to the Games room.

As soon as I entered, I was out of breath.

"Guys—" I said, getting everyone's attention.

"What's going on?" Sohinki asked, looking concerned.

Mari ran up to me. "Okay, breathe, breathe."

I stood there until I was able to talk.

"I'm joining Smosh Games!"

Everyone cheered and gathered around me, congratulating me with hugs and pats.

Everyone but Boze, who was still asleep on the couch.

"Boze!" Mari yelled, shaking her awake.

"What, what!" She asked, standing up instantly.

"Aria is joining Smosh Games!" Mari said.

"OMFG REALLY ARIA I WAS WAITING FOR THIS FROM DAY ONE!" Boze yelled, hugging me.

I swear she's almost exactly like me, small, but stronger than Wes, Flitz, and Shayne combined.

"I gotta go tell the squad!"

I ran out of the Games room and entered the squad room in what felt like less than a minute.

"GUYS!" I yelled.

"Damn, Aria! You're louder than my headphones..." Keith exclaimed, taking off his huge headphones.

"I'm joining Smosh Games!"

I was once again congratulated by hugs and pats, but this time there were  kisses on the cheek from Olivia.

"We should celebrate!" Courtney said.

"In that case, I'm buying us all dumplings!" Shayne said, looking down at his wallet.

I gasped. "How did you know I love dumplings?!"

"Well, I knew Ian was going to ask you, so in case you said yes, I asked Emma what you're favorite food was.
I've been saving money for this." Shayne said, smiling.

"Oh, I forgot you guys met Emma." I said.

"OH, WAIT!" I ran over to Shayne and hugged him.

"Mph—you're strong..." He said, his voice abnormally high pitched.

I realized I was suffocating Shayne.

I was too excited to let go, though.

"I ship it." I heard Olivia mutter.

"Okay, time to let go of Shayne!" Noah said.

"I can't!" I cried.

Noah laughed, and tried pulling me off of Shayne's body.

After a few tries, I let go.

Shayne was super pale.

I couldn't help myself! Nobody's ever done anything that nice to me before.

The squad, Smosh games, Ian and I went to the restaurant Sea Harbour.

I texted Emma the news, and she was there in less than five minutes.

I sat next to Shayne and Emma, and Flitz sat in front of me.

We talked about future plans for me, and new video ideas.

A few fans came up to us, and to my surprise, they asked to take a picture with me.

We told them the news first, and they asked if they could tell their friends.
