Keith's P.O.V

"Can we talk somewhere private?" Shayne whispered to me.

I nodded, and followed him out of the room.

He took me to the men's bathroom.

I watched him check the stalls for any feet, to make sure we were alone.

He stood in front of me and took a deep breath.

"I love Aria."

Called it. I thought.

"Oh." I said.

Then, I remembered Aria saying she wasn't ready for another boyfriend.

"I'm sorry, man." I said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I just really wanna know what happened to make Aria not want to have a boyfriend anymore." Shayne said.

"Well, maybe she's lesbian." I shrugged.

I watched as Shayne's eyes burst wide open, and realized what I've done.

"But...we can't assume! I doubt it..."

The more I thought of it, the more I believed it.

All the kisses on the cheek from Olivia...

Olivia.

"We could ask Olivia!" I blurted out.

"Good idea, let's go!" Shayne said as we ran out the bathroom door.

-

We made it to the squad room and found Olivia laying on the couch, on her phone.

"Olivia!" We said in unison.

"What?" She asked, taking out her earbuds.

"Is Aria lesbian?" I asked, scratching my chin.

"How would I know?" She answered.

"Because you've kissed her on the cheek so many times!" I said.

"That's because she's one of my best friends. You should know a thing or two about how girls work. Anyways, why are you even asking?"

I whispered in Shayne's ear, asking if I could tell her. He nodded in approval.

"Damn, you guys are like ten years old." Olivia said.

"Shayne likes Aria."

"Like, as a friend...or like love Aria?"

"I love Aria." Shayne said. "I'm just wandering why she doesn't want to have a boyfriend."

"Wait...holy crap..." Olivia said, standing up.

"What?" I said.

"Jason was planning on asking Aria out, like right now."

I looked over to see Shayne's face full of disappointment.

"Maybe she'll say no!" Olivia said, also noticing Shayne's expression. "She said she wasn't ready for a boyfriend yet."

"Maybe you're right." Shayne said, smiling slightly.

We all get a buzz on our phones.

"Someone tagged us on Instagram?" I said, looking at the notification.

I opened up the app, and it was an Instagram video.

It was Jason and Aria sitting at a coffee table, then Jason leaning it to kiss her.

I could tell Shayne saw it too, because I've never seen a human become that red before.

"Well...she's probably not lesbian..."

-

Aria's P.O.V

"Oh...I'm sorry..." Jason said, backing away.

"It's not your fault! I..."

I explained what Tucker did to me months ago.

"If I would've known, I wouldn't have turned you on like that...I'm so sorry, Aria."

"It's okay." I said. "I didn't think it would still haunt me to this day."

A tear rolled down my cheek, and Jason cuddled up to me while I cried.

After a while, we put our clothes back on and went back into the front seats.

Our coffee was cold, but we didn't care.

-

Once we got back to the office, people gave us weird looks.

"What the hell?" I whispered.

"Aria! Congrats on the new relationship!" Courtney said to us as we walked by.

"We're not in a relationship." I called back at her.

She tilted her head, and looked at us, confused.

Then, I remembered.

"That damn kid!" I said out loud.

"What kid?" Jason asked.

"After we kissed for the first time, I saw a kid sitting at the table behind you recording us."

"Oh." He said, blushing.

Blushing?

"Well, do you maybe...want to go out again?" He asked. "On a date?"

I stopped walking.

He stopped with me.

"I'm sorry." I said. "I have a lot going on in my life right now, and I don't know if I'm ready for a boyfriend yet. You're a really nice guy, it's just...I don't want to drag you into my life struggles."

He crossed his arms. "Did that kiss mean nothing to you? Aria, we almost had sex!"

I looked around, and saw people staring.

The room was quiet.

"Jason, listen to me, this isn't the place—"

"No, no, you listen to me! I've liked you since the first day I met you, and now that I finally got the chance to take you out, and kiss you, you turn me down?"

"Jason, the only reason is—"

"Do you even love me? Why'd you kiss me back? Was it just for publicity? WHY ARE YOU SO FUCKING COMPLICATED?!"

He walked away as fast as he could.

"Aria?"

I turned around.

The entire squad and Smosh Games was there, including Ian.

"I'm really sorry, Ian." I said.

"It's not your fault." He said with a sympathetic look. "You can't control him."

I smiled slightly and walked away, feeling my emotions rise.

"Aria?!" I heard someone call for me as I walked.

I walked faster.

And faster.

I was finally at the point where I was running.

I entered the women's restroom and sat down, my back to the wall.

I felt anger take over me as I recapped everything that's happened leading up to this.

I stood up, feeling the need to scream my emotions out, but I knew I couldn't.

Instead, I punched the bathroom wall.
