Chapter 45 - Questions and Secrets

Nandito kami ngayon ni Alden sa isang barangay sa Quezon. Matagal tagal na rin nang natapos ang pribadong kasal ni Coleen at Mike. Masaya kami at ang buong pamilya sa mga naganap at kinalabasan ng nasabing okasyon. Mahigit limang buwan na rin ang nakalipas nang inaya ko si Alden na magdate kami at naganap yun sa rooftop. Akala ko talaga ay hindi siya darating noon.

"RJ?"sabi ko at nakita siyang napakalapit sa mukha ko at nakangiti.

"Let's go back to your unit. I'll fix this after."he said and kissed my forehead. Mabilis akong kumapit sa leeg niya nang binuhat niya ako.

"Pero paano 'yung ginawa ko? Sayang naman." sabi ko nang nakanguso

Mabilis niya namang hinalikan ang labi ko. Napaatras pa ang mukha ko sa kanya pagkatapos. I blushed because of his sweet gesture.

"I've seen your efforts baby. I've read your card and saw the ring. That's all that matters. I'm sorry, I came too late. Babawi ako. Hmmm?"his smile reached his eyes and he winked at me.

"Hindi ka na galit?"kumunot ang noo ko. I cupped his face gently.

"I was just jealous."marahan niyang sabi at umiwas ng tingin.

"Akala ko hindi ka na darating."mahina kong sabi at sumimangot.

"You paid the host of Coleen's wedding just to be sure I would win the game?"

"Hoy kapal mo ah! Wag kang gumawa ng kwento."

"Didn't know my baby's too shy to ask me on a date?"he smirked

"Na hindi naman natuloy!"I said and rolled my eyes. He laughed wholeheartedly upon seeing how annoyed I was.

"We could always date, anytime, anywhere, Girlfriend."I blushed

Natapos ang gabing 'yun na pinagluto niya ako at hindi na rin siya umuwi. Nabanggit niya rin sa akin na gumawa na siya ng paraan para siya ang maging leading man ko. Kinabukasan pinakalat agad iyon sa mga tabloids at social media. Nagalak naman ang lahat sa pagbabalik tambalan namin. Ilang linggo pagkatapos, ipinahayag na rin namin sa publiko ang pagbabalik tambalan namin sa isang interview.

Host: The whole word wants to know if you guys are dating. Marami kasi ang kumakalat na pictures na lagi kayong magkasama and it seems like you guys are acting like a real couple. So are you guys in a relationship right now?

Maine: We are actually having a teleserye.

Alden: Yes and we're the lead stars.

Halata sa host ang pagkagulat. Inilihim din kasi talaga ang proyektong ito at kaya kami ininterview ngayon ay dahil sa isang commercial na magkasama kaming dalawa ni Alden at hindi
para sa ano pa man.

Host: That's quite surprising, I mean coming from both of you. Wait, I need to breathe. We actually thought that you guys won't be working together anymore due to your past connection with each other. Sorry I'm a fan.

Maine: Oh, thank you. Well, yes, that was the original plan.
But we've decided to work things out and after some time we  just found ourselves doing our best to get the role.

Host: What made you guys change your mind?

Maine: I think we owe it to the public. So now, in exchange for all the support they have given us throughout the years, we want to return the favor. And we actually missed working with other.
