Chapter 32

3rd Person's POV

Ziro was pacing back and forth on his living room hawak ang isang bote ng tequila na halos kumalahati na ang laman. He’s starting to get worried about Gia. They are supposed to call 30 minutes ago for an update pero wala siyang natatanggap na ano mang tawag.

Ngayon ang flight nila, mahigpit niyang bilin na tawagan siya before the plane takes off pero wala.  He’s been calling Jade and Maria but none of them answered his call which is very unusual. He’s been dialing several times pero wala pa rin.

Fuck! What happened to them?! Ni minsan, wala pang nagkamaling ignorahin ang tawag niya lalo na sa mga tauhan niya. They all know it’s his rule. So, if there’s no response, then there must be something wrong!

Tinapon niya kung saan ang hawak na bote at agad hinablot ang nakapatong na susi sa center table. He had to get back there! He shouldn’t have left there in the first place. Bakit ba kasi nagpadala pa siya sa lungkot niya!

Nang binuksan niya ang pinto, kaagad na bumungad sa harapan niya ang kakambal kasama ang babeng hindi niya inaasahang makita.

“What the fuck is that woman doing here?” Singhal ni Ziro kay Nadia ng makita niya ito sa kanyang pintuan.

He felt his blood boiling just by seeing the woman. He knows there is something wrong and this woman infront of him has something to do with it.

Mabilis naman na naitago ni Hiro ang babae sa likuran niya para protektahan mula sa kapatid.

“Calm down Ziro. We know what happened and she’s here to help.” Pagpapaliwanag si Hiro na inismiran lang ng kapatid. Bumundol ang kaba sa dibdib ni Ziro. Sinasabi na nga ba!

“Did you do something to Gia?” He asked Nadia with a hard and thick voice.

“My dad took her and killed your people Ziro.” Diretsang sagot naman ni Nadia. Fear was visible on her face. “But I am here to help you get them back.”

“My ass. Who are you fooling around Nadia?” Asik naman ni Ziro na tila hindi kumbinsido. “If something happens to her, I’m gonna chop you and your father into pieces.” Nanlilisik ang mga matang pangbabanta niya rito.

“I’m telling the truth Ziro, kakampi mo nako ngayon and I can prove it if you just trust me.” Nadia spoke.

“Why would I trust you? You are a dela Vega, a family of dirty players. Now move out of the way before I kill you.” Pagmamatigas niya as he pushed them aside.

He’s not a fool to believe the woman who planned on killing him since then.

“I love your brother Ziro, that’s why you have to trust me!” Sigaw ni Nadia na nagpatigil sa kanya sa paglalakad.

“What?” He asked in disbelief as he turned around and saw their hands tightly holding each other.

“Mahal ko si Hiro, I love him long time ago, I love him that I can turn my back on them just to save him. Siya lang ang nagparamdam sakin ng pagmamahal na hindi ko makita sa pamilya ko o sa kahit na sino. I can’t just… kill him like what they want me to do. I know we had a terrible past Ziro but please, trust me even just for this time. I know where Gia is, I know their plans, and I can spill everything if you just let me.” Mahabang paliwanag ni Nadia na siyang kumumbinsi sa kanya.

He had a very hard time trusting others words specially when it came from Nadia but he’s willing to take the risk. He will give it a try pero hindi ibig sabihin nun, magtitiwala na siya sa kanya.
