26- Sick

Demi woke up with Selena's arms wrapped around her. Sweat moistened her body, she felt disgusting. "Sel wake up" Demi mumbled and shook Selena awake. Selena slowly opened her eyes and pulled Demi closer. "Selena stop" Demi groaned. Selena giggled and let go of Demi. "What's wrong?" She asked and pushed Demi's hair out of her face. "I feel sick" "Come on" Selena helped Demi out of her bed and helped her walk to the bathroom. Demi quickly knelt down and threw up into the porcelain bowl. Selena grabbed some medication from the cabinet and a cup of water. Demi gladly took it from her and swallowed the pills with a mouth full of water. "Thanks," Demi mumbled and smiled slightly at her girlfriend. "What time is it?" she asked and flushed the toilet. "It's 5:30 in the morning," Selena wrapped her arms around Demi's waist and they both stared into the mirror. "Ugh.. Well i'm going to talk to Liz and see if I can stay home. I'm not feeling well and I probably have to have a talk with my mom... and my dad," Selena nodded and kissed her cheek. "How about you go back to bed and i'll talk to Liz?" Selena suggested. "I should be heading home anyways," Selena laid Demi back down. "Are you sure?" "Yeah... I'll come see you after school," "Thank you Sel. I love you, text me," "I will. I love you too baby," Selena said and closed Demi's bedroom door.

Selena jogged down stairs and suddenly heard yelling. Her eyes rolled but she kept her cool. "Is Liz awake?' Selena interrupted Dianna and John screaming at each other. They both looked at her with wide eyes. "What?" They snapped. "Is Liz awake?" She repeated herself. "Yeah, she's getting ready for work" "Okay," Selena nodded and went into the kitchen. She was surprised to see Liz sitting at the table holding a cigeret between her fingers. Her hair in her face and mascara running down her cheeks. "Woah" Selena frowned and sat down by Liz. "Liz what's wrong?" Liz blew out smoke and pushed her hair out of her face. "I'm leaving," Liz said and looked down. "What do you mean?" "John's an asshole" "You can't leave. Demi needs you," Selena pleaded. "I have too" "What're John and Dianna fighting about then?" "They're fighting?" "Yeah," Selena was about to tell her she should go talk to Demi but Liz jumped up from her chair and ran into the room where John and Dianna were.

Selena followed her out and sat down on the edge of the couch. "John.." Liz grabbed a hold of his arm. His facial expression softened and he leaned his head against hers. "Liz i'm so sorry for being an asshole" Liz shook her head. "It's okay John. I promise," He turned back around to look at Dianna. "Okay Dianna, you should leave now," He said calmly. She nodded and grabbed her suitcase. "Bye," she said and walked until she was out the door.

They all heard a soft cry and their heads snapped toward the stairs. Demi stood there with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Demi, you're up" John said quietly. She nodded and wiped the tears off of her face.

Selena walked up to her slowly and pulled her closer to them. "Liz, you're leaving?" Demi whimpered. Liz shook her head and furrowed her eyebrows. "Why do you think that?" Liz asked and Selena rolled her eyes but made sure Demi didn't see.

Demi shrugged. "Never mind" She mumbled. "So mom's not coming back?" Demi asked her dad. "Probably not," John said. Demi nodded and mumbled something to herself. "Can I talk to you dad?" Demi said softly. He furrowed his eyebrows and stepped closer to Demi. "Alone?" Selena and Liz left. "I.."

OMG guys i'm so sorry for not updating for like 2 weeks but I had writers block and I've been busy with school and I had to deal with some issues at home. This is just a filler and I know it's short but I tried writing it at school since my school gave us computers. I promise to update again this weekend and it'll be longer.. Sorry for the wait :)
