17- We're Not Leaving

As Demi pulled up to the party house, she noticed people in the front lawn of the large house, they were stumbling all over the place, they were grinding against one another and they had drinks in their hand. About half of the 1000 people are outside and the other half is inside of the mansion.

Demi shut her truck door and looked around one more time before making her way inside. She saw Joe near the door so she rushed over to him.

"Ah look who showed up" Joe said. He isn't drunk, which Demi is grateful for. "Yeah, so why'd you want me to come?" "Because your very sexy girlfriend left today and it's your birthday" "Okay" Demi whispered. "Come with me" Joe took her hand and led her to the bar. He grabbed two beers and gave one to Demi. She opened it quickly and drunk a mouthful. Joe was smiling at her while she drank the beer. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Why wouldn't I be?" "You loved her" "I still do" Demi corrected him. "Yeah, but you don't seem so sad about her leaving" "I am" Demi whimpered.

She doesn't want to talk about Selena leaving. That's why she came to the party, to forget.

"I just want to forget" Demi said. He smiled at her and took her free hand in his. "I can make you forget" He brought his lips to hers and she didn't bother pulling away. She let him have her,

Selena turned to her dad in the car and smiled at him. "We're still leaving, just not today" He sighed. Selena frowned. "I don't get why I have to go. I am 18 and I can take care of myself. And you know I don't want to leave her. You know how much I love her so why are you making me go?" "Sweetie you don't know what love is. You've been dating her for what? Three months" "I do love her. I swear I do. And she's probably at that fucking party right now. She didn't even text or call me" "Language" "Sorry dad" Selena whispered. "Go find her and bring her back home. We'll talk" "Really?" Selena grinned. "Yes. Now go before she gets herself into trouble" Selena hoped out of her dads car and into her own. She drove over to Demi's house, only finding that Demi's truck is gone.

Selena groaned then pulled out of Demi's driveway. She turned her car around so she was going in the other direction. Selena made her way to the party house and she immediatly jumped out of her car. People stared at her as she ran inside. A look of panic on her face. Her heart race increased and her palms became clamy.

Selena saw Nick and ran over to him. "Where is Demi?" "Woah I thought you left for New York' "My flight was cancelled" "Oh that sucks" "No it doesn't. I don't want to leave" Selena rolled her eyes. She's in a hurry and Nick isn't telling her anything.

Nick grabbed Selena's arm and whispered in her ear. "Bedroom on the far right. You'll find her" The color from Selena's face drained and she literally ran to the bedroom.

When the door flew open, Joe jumped off of Demi's naked, bruised, bloody body. Joe looked at Selena as he pulled his pants and shirt on. Selena's body froze and she just stared at Demi. "What can I say? She likes it rough" Selena's fist connected with Joe's jaw and he fell back. "You asshole! What the hell is wrong with you?" She kicked him in the ribs then went over to Demi.

Selena carried Demi's unconcious body out of the house, after dressing her. She laid her down in the backseat and put a blanket over her. "Demi i'm so sorry" Selena cried and kissed Demi's pale cheek.

Once Selena got to their road she decided to just take Demi home. When she got into Demi's driveway, she noticed the light from the kitchen is on. That means Liz and John are awake, and probably looking for Demi.

Selena carried Demi inside and Liz rushed over to them. "Where was she?!" Liz screamed. "She went to a party" Selena said. Liz took Demi from Selena's arms and placed her on the couch. "What happened to her?" Liz cried. Selena stood up straight. "Um..I don't really know but I found her naked" Selena said softly. "Oh god. Not again" Selena's eyes widened. "Again?" "Nothing" Liz sighed. John came into the room, his face flushed with anger. "Who did it?" He growled. "J-Joe.. Joe Jonas" Selena said. He put on his coat and slipped on his shoes, then he jogged out of his house.
