Under the surface

part 25

emma p.o.v:
mikey and i were out, he told me that brook wanted to go after me but he stopped him and i am really glad for that.
mikey said that he thinks a night away from everything and everyone can help me to relax a bit and with that, he booked us a room in the closest hotel.

when we arrived at the hotel my thoughts were running, we entered our room and mikey saw that something was bothering me, he jumped on the big bed that made me giggle a bit.
when he finally sat down on the edge of it, he asked "are you coming in today?" since i was standing at the doorway for the past three minutes, "umm.." i said pulling out of my thoughts "are you sure it's a good idea to spend the night here? i mean, i don't want to come between you and shaili and jack already thinks that i’m a slut.." i said quietly and tears falled from my eyes, "he what!?" mikey asked and told me to sit next to him.
i sat down and mikey literally forced me to tell him what happened before he'll call jack and ask him himself. i had no alternative so i told him everything,

//flashback, jack's room, earlier today//

i walked to jack's room to see what's up with him, i opened the door and start said angrily "do you really think i have something to brook? for serious? he's like a brother to me!" he didn't reply so i moved closer to the bed and noticed that he's crying.
"jack..? can you talk to me?" i asked gently, he moved a bit and sat up.

i saw two green beautiful eyes, the eyes i loved so much all wet from crying because of me and empty. they weren't the same eyes of my best friend, my boyfriend.. it's like.. it wasn't him anymore..
i felt so bad for yelling at him but then, out of nowhere he yelled at me, "just go away and leave me alone you SLUT!"
tears start to appear in my eyes, i opened my mouth trying to say something - anything to not be the weak girl again but nothing came to my head.

i stormed out of his room, i saw jack trying to say something to me but i didn't care i just wanted to get out of there.

//end of flashback//

"and from now you already know what happened because you were with me" i said when i finished and saw that he was shocked, then he spoke up "look, emma, with all the anger i have to jack right now i'm 100 percent sure that he didn't mean it.. so, i have an idea"
"yeah?" i asked confused.
"we have a double bed here so let's separate it, order some food because i'm starving and in the morning we'll go back to the house, you'll talk to jack and if he's still being a dick to you then i'll take care of it, okay?" he suggested, i agreed and 15 minutes later we were sitting on the bed with some pizza.
