All the boys were nervously shifting in their seats, looking around the classroom and tapping with their fingers on their desks. The sound annoyed Shinichi, but who was he to tell an entire class to shut the hell up?

But he was allowed to judge them. His classmates were pretty exited, since today was Valentine's Day. As known as the day, where the boys get gifted with chocolate from girls they like. It was also interesting to see who would get one by whom.

Nakamichi and the rest of his football colleagues told him that this day was one of the many things they were exited about when entering high school. For some reasons they think they could open a chocolate store with the amount of gifts they would get from the girls.

Shinichi wasn't that optimistic. More like he didn't care whether he would get chocolate from someone or not, so there's no need to be disappointed later on by the lack of getting some.

When the bell was announcing the lunch break, all the boys were storming outside, leaving Shinichi and the girls behind. He noticed the inpatient stare he got from them, sighed and got up to leave the classroom as well.

He absolutely didn't care which girl was giving which boy their presents, but if they were persistent about their privacy, fine.

Shinichi lazily trotted around the school hall and stared at the big window at some point. He noticed an unfamiliar girl and boy standing outside, the girl was blushing hard as she was giving him the chocolate.

Shinichi laughed at their adorable antics. That guy was so flustered, his red cheeks looked like they were going to explode any second. After they calmed themselves down, both of them reach out for a hug, so Shinichi turned around and left the scene.

Only to see another girl staring at the same scene, her small package pressed on her chest. She bit on her lips and tried to suppress her tears.

Shinichi felt bad for her, but saying that out loud won't change anything. So he just gave her a reassuring smile before leaving again.

It seemed like some people have luck on that so called special day while others will suffer with a heartbreak. And the boys will take their present without saying much and show their gratitude on White Day.

When the lunch break was over and Shinichi entered the classroom, some of his teammates were staring at him mischievously and with raised eyebrows.

"Whew, Kudou, who would've thought that people would like the attributes you have to offer!", Nakamichi howled at him.

Shinichi glared back – because what did he do this time? – until he saw the package on his desk.

He felt like his heart was going to burst off his chest because he cannot believe what he was seeing right now.

Someone gave him chocolate. A human being decided to show him that they care about him by gifting him that!

Shinichi carefully grabbed the present, as if it were something fragile. He unobtrusively scanned around the classroom because he really wanted to know who the girl was.

Sonoko? Hopefully not. But didn't she have a boyfriend anyway?

Masumi? Also not. Unless she was gifting him that out of friendship.

He inspected the package again and saw a few letters on a small piece of paper, so he quickly opened it.
