Kazuha was tired of seeing the same colours, since she hadn't found her so called soulmate yet.
Hell, they're not even colours! Just a dull variety of black and white.
Ever since she was born, she had to deal with the different shades of grey, because she couldn't find her significant other.
According to her father, everyone will see the world in beautiful, various colours as soon as they meet their soulmate. He had described how everything looks from his eyes.
She had catched some vocabularies but did it even matter? She couldn't decipher them anyway.
At least, she can suffer with Heiji, who also hasn't found his soulmate yet. But whilst it didn't bother him that much, Kazuha always gets annoyed whenever people start talking about it.
Especially when people wouldn't shut up about it. Her class- and teammates were very well aware that Kazuha hasn't found her significant other yet, so why were they always pestering her? Do they need to push their self-esteem like that?
Dang, that person better had some good explanation when she's finally meeting them.
Especially since she kind gave her heart to someone, yet that person wasn't her soulmate? It was exhausting to not see them in colour.

Kazuha often visited Tokyo. Even though she was a proud Osakan, she had to admit that the eastern please had the some of the most delicious food she ever ate. So she didn't care about the few hours it takes from Osaka to Tokyo.
Heiji wasn't interested, so Kazuha hopped alone in the train and spent some time looking at several eyes. Her irritating people only ended, when she finally reached the restaurant.
The familiar greeting made her feel like entering her favourite store in Osaka. It was decorated with simple stuff that made a huge contrast to the more darker furniture. She sighed and scanned her surroundings.
Many people were currently in the restaurant. Some of them were eating alone or in silence with their companion, so Kazuha gave her attention to the one she could not overhear.
Two girls are chatting and laughing loudly, which annoyed the elder man behind them, as he demanded them to lower their tone.
Behind him, a family with two kids were also pretty hearable. The children were fighting in a high volume, the mother looked like she was trying to call herself down and the father desperately tried to prevent the kids to throw their food around the restaurant.
And on the other side were a boy and a girl, probably on a date or something, she thought. Both seem to wear similar clothes, so they must go to the same school. They are also discussing pretty loudly and did the girl just raise her fist?
What a bunch of weirdos collected in one place, Kazuha concluded.
Dammit, did she try to think like the stupid detective Heiji? He would always analyse the outer appearance from random strangers and he could easy deduct accurate information.
Sometimes it was helpful, but there are also occasions where she found it creepy?
Kazuha was just about to tell her order to the hostess, when a loud shriek filled the room.
