Haibara seems like a good therapist for Heiji's problems.

Warnings: grammar mistakes, swearing, weird humour.

"What are you doing here?", Ai asked when she opened the front door and saw the unexpected guest.

"Ah, what a rude way to greet someone!", Hattori Heiji grunted. "But I can't blame you, I didn't came here to see you."

"Hurry up, I have work to do. What do you want?"

"Okay, do you know where the hell Kudou went? I planned a surprise visit, but no one opened when I kept ringing the doorbell! So I went over to his house 'cause I thought his parents are in town but I was wrong again."

Ai sighed. "Kudou-kun is currently overseas with his parents. And Mouri-san and her father aren't in Tokyo either."

"The asshole! He could've told me!", Heiji huffed.

"I don't blame him. You were the one who showed up without informing him. Have a safe trip then."

She was about to close the door but Heiji put his foot in between.

"Excuse me? Don't you want to invite your guest in?!"

"To be honest, I'm currently working on another prototype for the antidote."

"Ah right", Heiji nodded. "To finally let Kudou free of the Ahotoxin?"

"It's Apotoxin. Anyway, we're not going anywhere with this. I'll invite you in and were going to have some nice chit-chat", she offered. Heiji gave her a horrified glare.

"Why are shivers running down through my spine?"

"I don't know?"

"Didn't you say you have work to do? I guess I'll just wait until Kudou comes back."

"Didn't you understand me? I said, he's overseas. You won't see him until next week. And I can put my work on hold. You obviously need to get something off your chest, if you made the effort coming to Tokyo."

The Osakan sighed in defeat before finally getting in the house. Seemed like there was no way he could win this silly discussion.

"Where's the professor anyway?", he asked then. "Don't tell me he left you alone in the huge mansion?"

"He went groceries shopping", she answered as she held a pair of slippers. "He and that creepy neighbour, who lives in Kudou-kuns house, want to cook together. I just really don't get why they would spend time together, but as long as the professor doesn't prepare unhealthy meals and drags me into his new business, I let him be."

"Kudou has stated several times tha the Subaru dude isn't as dangerous as you think."

"That's his opinion", Ai shrugged. "So, why do you want to surprise Kudou-kun? There's always a reason behind a plan."

"Oh, you think so?"

"Spit it out, Hattori-kun. We will not go through this again."

Heiji sighed. "I just wanted ta complain about a lot of stuff! Especially about Kazuha! The gal irks me so much!"

"Ah, were finally getting to the point", the shrunken girl nodded. "Let me guess, she's angry at you and you knucklehead don't even know why?"

"How do you know?"

"Because it's always like that!"

Heiji shrugged. "Well, she gives me the silent treatment since we talked about how Kudou confessed his feelings to Neechan. Kazuha informed me, I teased him and that's it."
