Kazuha and Heiji are getting matching tattoos.
Warnings: grammar mistakes
And now, back to our regular scheduled program: Heizuha. Also short, but sappy.

"Say, what would you say about me planning on getting myself a tattoo?", Heiji asked Kazuha on a Sunday evening. Both were laying on his futon spread out in his room, her head resting on his chest, and with their intertwined hands resting next to the remote control.
It was a comfortable atmosphere. Them being so close to the other meant they were sharing the warmth emitting from their bodies. A nice addition to the active radiator Heiji had turned on, thanks to the cold weather outside. Their date at Heiji's place couldn't have been better right now.
Kazuha was snuggling closer to Heiji's body and probably on the verge of falling asleep when Heiji decided to drop the question. She lazily stirred up and stared at him with narrowed eyes, the confusion must be evident on her face because his expression became more sheepish.
"Why are you asking me that? It's not like I can permit or forbid you from getting one, it's your body and decision after all", she replied then in a low voice. Kazuha averted her eyes from Heiji's, now facing the TV again which was currently showing a romantic film.
While Kazuha adored the genre romantic, Heiji was usually the one who could get bored quickly and try to distract himself and everyone around him. Either the question was asked to make Kazuha shift her attention onto him or he just wanted an excuse to talk about anything so he wouldn't fall asleep.
"So what I'm getting out of this that you wouldn't like it?", Heiji continued to inquire, his face now scrunching as if Kazuha's answer didn't please him at all.
"What? No? But I don't want you to allow or forbid something you want to do, Heiji. If you want to have one, that's good for you. I wouldn't even care if you'd get something that's covering your whole body or something."
Heiji hummed in acknowledgement. "Heh. Okay. And what would you think about getting a matching tattoo?"
Forget the film. Heiji had won, he managed to distract her from the TV for now. Kazuha turned her body to the left side, so she could avoid getting distracted by the showed media again, right into Heiji's eyes.
He looked at her with anticipation, as if he was really depending his doing on whatever answer she will give him. Kazuha rested her eyes on Heiji's bare arms and tried to imagine those arms with the black or a colourful ink. Heiji would probably choose a motive that's linked to solving criminal cases, though something related to Kendo was also possible.
Either way, whatever motive he would decide on in the end, it was bound to look good on him. But Kazuha wasn't sure if that also applied to her body too. Unlike Heiji, she wasn't obsessing over crimes, martial arts were more likely.
"Now that's where I step in. Although I'm not opposed to the idea, I still need to know what you have planned."
"What makes you think I've plan-"
"Heiji", Kazuha interrupted his question with a knowing glare. "As if you would ask something like that out of the blue."
"You got me." And with that, Heiji got up. Kazuha already started to miss the warmth and suppressed a whine when he hadn't crawled back to her within ten seconds. She watched how he was rummaging through his desk, until he was holding a few pieces of paper.
"Look. I was thinking about what kind of motive we should get, if you were to agree on this, of course."
"Well, I'm not opposed to the idea, so show me what you got", Kazuha hummed, instituting an hour filled with a discussion about potential tattoo motives, the current film now completely forgotten.
