Three days to the homecoming dance.From what we know Jade cant get us the key because Lucinda has been going with it everywhere.Now there comes a problem after what Corbryn told us on Friday last week we are not sure we can trust Jade. Jade Perkins Leah did a serious background check on he rbut found absolutely nothing fishy.In fact they have been friends with Lucinda for the longest time possible as her eyes and ears but all this time it was just to help us.She is not speaking to us and everytime we ask her why she is helping or who she is behind the mask she creates she just tells us "am her e for you and that's all you need to know" so we don't know whether to trust her or not.

rced me into agreeing cause she wanted me to act like a spy and see why the Seavey's are here to my surprise dude mives alone in a mansion big enough to fit five families,,, okay maybe am exaggerating but that place is huge.

"yeap" as he joins me for lunch.Troy was not in school Terry is somewhere in the library looking for some new chemistry book and Callanhas been off late avoiding me and apparently he has new friends.I lean over to watch him laughing and talking with Lucinda's table that consists of other jocks from the school football team including the Quarterback Jason Rindle .Is this is way of making me jealous? as he laughs off with Makayla and Lucinda.

"and you don't seem excited about it?"

"that's because it really doesn't matter to me and I don't think am even going" as I drink up my smoothie and I can feel Corbryn eyes on me and I look up to see him staring at me "what?"

"I have been watching you and I might not say anything an may always be joking but I can tell there is something bothering you.I know I have no right to meddle but I believe if we are friends you can talk to me cause what else are friends here for,,,,,,,"

"thanks Cob but am fine just stressed out with school"

"then I have a suggestion promise you will do it don't worry its something that will help you cheer up"

"what is it but am not promising anything"

"okay,,,, I was thinking we have only been doing school stuff and school and everything about it sucks so maybe that's why you are so stressed up and also after that incident I think it shook you up a little bit so why do we do something fun"

"like what?"

"okay I know this might be weird but,,,,," as he looks at me please don't do what I think you are about to do as he holds my hand out "will you go to the homecoming dance with me as my date?" wait what????

Before I could even say anything Terry cam jumping up and down "Zynn you wont belive what I ,,,,,," as she sees Corrbryn hand on mine and then looks back at me before I withdraw my hands.For some reason her eyes are full of disappointment "looks like am interrupting something very important ?"

"no its nothing,,, its just that,,,,,"

"I asked her out for the dance" Corbryn finshes it off and I don't have to be told she was hurt because I already knew she had a crush on him but I wanted her to tell me herself

"oh,,,, okay,,, that's" she says still sad.

"its nothing Terry he just wants someone to go with to the dance don't think too much about and besides that,,,,,,,, I haven't made a decision yet,,, its nothing right Corbryn" as I wait for him to answer "Cob?"

"yeah right" he says faking a smile "totally nothing personal"

"see?"I tell her

"its cool I understand you are free to ask whoever you like right anyway got to go" she says before skimping away

"oh shit" as I turn back to my seat

"what's wrong? Did I do anything wrong?"

I look at him.How can he be so clueless of Terry's crush in him when anyone and everyone can see it "no its nothing"

"oh okay for a moment there I thought I offended her by asking you out,,,,, anyway you don't have to give me the answer right now and if you are waiting for someone else its totally cool with me I just wanted you to have some fun that's all don't feel obliged to me okay princess?" I smile at this guy.He is so sweet and innocent you cant even say no even if you want to.

"so have you heard?" some two girls beside us say and it catches my attention

"heard what?"

"its all over Overland gossip site"

"what?"

"about Lucinda and Callan" and that's when I turn

"yeah check it our everyone is talking about it" as I start looking for my phone

"Zynn are you okay? Do you know who those girls are talking about?" asks Corbryn but am too busy reading the site.

News just in as we prepare for the Homecoming dance whose name has been changed to School dance we cant be happier after knowing that Callan Numen now part of the school honorboard just asked Lucinda Hart head cheerleader out for the dance.This is after three weeks of breaking up with Zynnella Porter.Reliable sources told us the duo are getting close as the days go on you never know,,,,,,,,and from interviews around the school they are likely to be the school homecoming queen and king but now the question everyone is asking how will Zynnella behave has she moved on? Who is her date? And what about our reigning king Troy who is he taking with him this time? Only time will tell

Tears just start forming in my eyes.How can he do this to me? After all we have been through? After all that girl has put as through?

"do you want to go home? I could take you?"

"please?"

"no problem let's go" he says as he picks both our bags and walks behind me carefully asking no questions.I can see the stares of everyone in school and some are even recording.
