"so this guy comes and asks me "who are you guys?" and I just lift my head look at him and smile" Jason continues with the story and we are all laughing I don't know why exactly except for Callan.

"are you okay?"I ask him

"yeah" smiling " am having a good time"

"well that's the whole point of inviting you over " still smiling as he looks at me "but you know if you are not comfortable here we can always go somewhere you feel comfortable"

"its okay Lucinda am fine"

"well if you say so" I tell him smiling.My phone rings and I see Tomika's name on it "excuse me for one sec" once away "did you do it?"

"yeah she saw the fake post and she reacted the way you wanted her to react"

"good anything else"

"also I think God is our side ,,,,, Corbryn just asked Zynn out for the dance and Terry seemed alittle hurt"

"did she agree to it"

"not yet"

"well make sure she does she must agree to take Corbryn with her to the dance"

"okay"

"thanks Tomika now let the game continue"as I switch my phone off.Well good work Lucinda as I walk back to my friends and signal Makayla to start.

"anyway you guys heard?"

"heard what?"

"the hot new guy who replaced Callan in the basketball team"

"what has he done" asked one of Jason's friends

"well apparently he just asked Zynnella out for the dance" and I saw Callan reaction as he stopped eating and looked at Makayla "its all over the gossip site"

"why is it important?" asked Melinda

"well because Zynnella and Callan here just broke up recently "

"oh dude that girl with the wavy wavy hair was your girl?" asked Jason "who would ever think you would get replaced so easily" as Callan's face twitched and this was my time to come in

"guys come on stop been insensitive to Callan and he hasn't been replaced yet I mean she didn't even say yes did she?"

"its written that she said she will give it a thought so if she is willing to give it a thought that means she is willing to let Callan go" said Makayla oh I love this girl.

"yeah exactly" said Bruce "cause I kind of like you Callan lemme tell you the truth that girl doesn't even remember you its about time you moved on"

"yeah and there a re a lot of girls in this school who are drooling over you but I know one who really loves you and wont heartbreak you like she did and she is right here" said Jason pointing at me

"guys come on give Callan a break he doesn't need anyone to tell him what to do" I said "Look Callan no one is forcing you to do anything and am here genuinely to help you because i don't think its fair for someone to treat you like that so am here to help you only if you let me?"

"its okay guys am fine,,,, and thanks Lucinda thanks for everything I think I'll just head home for now"

"are you sure?"I asked

"yeah don't worry see you tomorrow,,,thanks guys for the company you guys are amazing"

"anytime bro" said Jason as he left

"must say Luicnda you are a real snake" said Jason "you can win and Oscar in manipulating people that's for sure"

"you think? This girl is like the devil's daughter herself" as they all laugh and am smiling

"come on guys what's wrong with claming what I want?" as I watch Callan go towards his car in distress.

Callan

Those were the words ringing in my head as I headed to my car.I knew it from the very beginning that guy was out to replace me even in the life of the most important person in my life.

And her why would she entertain him? Is she that clueless? Cant she see that guy has a huge crush on her? Or maybe she doesn't want to see that?

Yeah she has been pushing me away and is always with tha good for nothing seavey guy maybe she forgot me and she wants nothing to do with me?

As I enter my car two days to homecoming this was supposed to be our first dance together.
