Chapter Fourteen

"So you want to do something romantic for Y/n... because you're afraid your relationship isn't strong enough?" Wendy questioned Kenny as they stood outside the school together.

"Yeah. I already told her I'll be busy today so I need your help. What should I do that's going to impress her?" He asked them. The girls looked at each other, Wendy, Bebe, Nichole, Annie, Red, and Heidi.

"O.M.G.," Bebe gawked at Kenny, "That is the most romantic thing I have ever heard!!" She squealed, making all of the other girls shriek with excitement.

"Oh... that's great news!" Kenny exclaimed, "So... how should I start?"

"Well first of all you should always start off with a romantic dinner. Something fancy, like Italllian, or Mexican. Or if you're feeling really sexy, go for Cuban!" Red began.

"Uhh..." Kenny was already putting up red flags. Those damn Italian resteraunts cost a lot of money.

"Then of course you'll have to take her shopping. If you wanna swoop her off of her feet, let her choose where she wants to shop, and get her everything she wants!!" Bebe said.

"Yeah, but don't forget to bring her somewhere special to wrap it all up. Somewhere unforgettable, that would make an incredible closing to the night. Like the beach, or the top of a sky scraper!" Wendy grinned.

"Um... I don't really have the money for all of that." Kenny shrugged. The girls all went quiet and looked at each other.

"Oh. Well... then I guess you're screwed, buddy." Nichole said.

"Yeah. The only way to get a girl to really want to stay with you forever, is if you're super loaded." Bebe said.

"Aw, fuck!" Kenny exclaimed, staring at the ground.

"Don't worry, Kenny. Just throw together whatever you can. I'm sure if it comes from the heart she's going to love it." Heidi said.

"Yeah. Y/n isn't hard to please. But uh... you might want to save up a little cash. Just in case..." Wendy smiled, and the group of girls finally walked away.

"Damn... where am I going to get enough money to-" Kenny trailed off as he started to remember his drug-addict brother.

"Hmm... Didn't Kev go on another drug raid last night...?" Kenny asked himself as he set a course for home.

"Uhh.... hey, did you guys see where Kenny went?" I asked the boys when I decided to stick with them after school ended.

"I haven't seen him since seventh period. Why?" Kyle looked over at me after finishing up his conversation with Stan.

"Well, I was following him after class, but then he told me to wait a while and chill with you guys, and that he'd be back later. And when he said later, I thought he meant like, you know, maybe five or ten minutes later. But now it's been like half an hour and I'm starting to get worried." I explained.

"Yeah. That's Kenny. He comes and goes as he pleases. Anyway, did you hear that they're making a second Frozen movie? I heard that the animation is going to blow everyone away!" Kyle exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, I thought it was pretty lame until I saw the trailer on youtube. I thought it was live-action for a second... they make the water look super realistic." Stan said.

"Guys! Guys..." I said as they started walking away from me. I rolled my eyes.

"There's already a trailer on youtube??" Kyle questioned.

"Yeah dude, new movies always have trailers about a year prior to their release date. It's supposed to come out in November or something." Stan explained.
