Claire POV
Six months later. Everything went back to normal. The school already have a different principal and trust me she's super nice unlike the old one. The students who bullied me got suspended from school for a month and community service for a week since they don't want to be expelled. It's not like I have a grudge at them, but I know they're not like Hailey. Though I know they hate me but it's entirely different and Hailey just take advantage of that and use it against me.
Everything is normal. The school. The students. Including me and my friends and the boys also already got back together. "Ready?" Nico asks when I step out of my house. I smiled at him.
Ever since I got back my memories and everything that happens, he never leaves my side. He always comes to my house every morning so that we can go to school together and we can go home together as well. We're always together. It feels like we're back to the old days.
When we arrive at school we go straight to our band room. And yes, we're planning to build back the band but one thing is not normal and never going back to normal or the way it was. Nico and Stanley.
It's like whenever they're together there's static on their eyes or something. I don't know what happened to them and Nico didn't say anything at all to me. He never opens it up, whatever happens to the both of them.
We start to plan things out. From the songs to the choreography. And even an event that we will participate. After two hours we take a break. The school has an event today that's why there are no classes and it gives us time to practice after almost a year of hiatus.
I walk out of the room to have fresh air and since our band room is on the sixth floor, I can see students coming in and out of the school. While I stare at them, I didn't notice that Ethan followed me outside.
"How are you, Claire?" He suddenly asks. And again I jump out of nervousness. I wasn't able to let go of this nervousness ever since and I'm really not used to people asking me questions. My eyes running around everywhere looking for answers.
To be honest, Ethan and I are not that close since he's the oldest of the group, we never had a chance to know each other more. But ever since I know he also treated me as one of them. And I treated him like a real brother.
"I can see that you're uncomfortable." He chuckles a little bit and smiles at me with a sad look in his eyes. Even for a short time, even though we are not that close, we still became friends. And I know he cared for me as much as he cared for the others.
"I'm sorry. It's just that-" I tried calming myself in front of him but he cut me off. "I know. It's okay. I heard you got your memories back." And again I see the sad look in his eyes.
"Yeah. I got them back awhile ago even before the kidnapping happens." He seems taken aback from what I said but easily compose himself. "Oh, I see." then he became silent again like he wants to say something but still deciding if he would say it or not. I can sense that there's something wrong.
"Is there something wrong, Ethan?" He avoided my eyes and stay silent. "Ethan? You know I can tell if there's something wrong or not." He chuckles a bit knowing I'm right. He let out a big sigh before saying anything.
"It's about Stan and Nico." when I heard what he says, my eyes instantly avoided his. I knew he would be concern about this. "Yeah I noticed." to be honest, I know Stan still loved me but Nico, I don't know if he's acting this way because we're best friends or is it something else. I never got a clear answer from him that's why I don't want to give any meaning to it.
"You know Stan still loved you. He never stops loving you. I know what he did is wrong but he did it for your own good."
"I know, Ethan. It just that... things are a little crazy right now, my mind is a little crazy. I don't want to go back to him if I'm unsure of my feelings, that's being unfair to him."
