Exposed

Once they arrived back at the lab Barry had his arms crossed tightly over his chest. He still had his mask on as Ronnie landed and let Caitlin down gently.

Iris stood up from the computer her mouth hanging open slightly "uh what's up with this?" She said and Cisco rolls his eyes dramatically making both Barry and Caitlin give quiet laughs.

"Ronald" He said sticking a hand out and approaching her. Barry looks to Caitlin obviously annoyed and she blushed looking away from his gaze quickly.

" um Iris.. WestAllen" she shook his hand over the table and Barry nods a little "Okay enough touching" Cisco makes a sound of disgust and Caitlin smiles slightly.

"Guys this is Ronnie's doppelgänger from earth....?" Caitlin starts to say

" earth thirty three" he finished for her and then she sighs softly "so is your middle name still Ruben?" He clutched his chest dramatically and she laughs lightly.

"God! my parents hated me so much on every earth I see" her smile fades a little then she looks down " what? What's wrong?"

Barry puts his hands on his hips shaking his head disapprovingly again.

" my Ronnie died... it's just strange to see you again..." as much as Barry wanted to hug her, now Ronnie was here to solve all her problems emotionally...

And physically

He sighs sharply through his nose and then Ronald touched her arms "hey, I'm really sorry for your loss... my Caitlin died too. She was shot in the stomach when someone was trying to rob her laboratory but she wouldn't give up the damn guy" Ronald looks to Barry while Caitlin stared at him confused.

"What guy?" She said shrugging out of his touch. She didn't know why but it wasn't comforting like it should be. It was weird and made her feel all squirmy.

"Bart allen.... one of her best friends and whom I found out later she was cheating on me with" Barry raised his eyebrows then he took his cowl off "on your earth Caitlin was sleeping with my doppelgänger? How is that even possible?" She and him exchanged a look that held a little to long.

"Honestly I don't know... I'm just glad on this chance I may have a chance to win back her heart" Ronald smiles looking at Caitlin then Barry steps closer.

"She's not some consolation prize, or a trophy you can hold up and flash whenever you want..." iris looks to Cisco who seemed to be enjoying this very much "she's a freaking person. Show her some respect instead of trying to whoo her because your Caitlin is dead"

"Barry" iris said warning him while F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M steps closer glaring at him. "I've had it with you and your doppelgängers.... you're not taking this Caitlin from me too!" He raised his fist and then Caitlin froze him before he could punch Barry.

He had braced himself anyway then he shook his head " I'm taking him to the pipeline before he thaws" Caitlin stares at her hands while Barry sped out.

" I'm gonna head home... it's been a long day.." she scratched the back of her neck and Cisco nods a little " I'll walk you out" he said needing desperately to talk to her now.

"Cisco, seriously I can walk myself out" she wraps her arms around herself, he only spoke once they got to the elevator " I was clearing out the case files... and I discovered some security footage from Hannibal bates? From like four years ago?"

Her body tensed. No it couldn't be the same clip...

Cisco lifts the tablet and then he clicked a few things before finally pressing play. Caitlin watched the video...

She stood at the spin machine while Hannibal bates disguised as Barry steps closer his body almost touching hers. The machine beeps and she quickly took the serum out, turning and her body hitting Hannibal's.

She yanks her head back some and she sighs shortly " what are you doing?" Caitlin walked around him while giving a nervous laugh. Hannibal had a cocky smirk on his face, one which she recognized.

"Something... I should've done a long time ago.." Hannibal turns her around quickly and then he pressed his lips to hers.

Cisco paused the tape then he looks at her face slowly "you like Barry... that's the mystery guy you can't have... isn't it?" She stares at his face gulping slowly then she nods closing her eyes.

"Yes..." she whispers "Caitlin he's married.." Cisco said in a hushed voice and she nods her hands rubbing up her cheeks slowly " I know.. I know-"

"Not to mention she's on the team as well-"

" yeah Cisco I know that-"

"I mean if she ever found out-"

"Cisco!" She yells then he stops talking. She sighs slowly letting her eyes return to their normal brown colors. Killer frost had initiated to protect her feelings of course.

"I know that he's married..." she sighs slowly and then he crossed the iPad over his chest quietly.

"Of course I know. I see him with her every single day and it's... it's torture..." she shakes her head slowly and Cisco bit his bottom lip feeling extremely guilty now.

"I shouldn't have said anything I'm sorry Caitlin" he reached out to touch her arm but she backs away into the elevator not meeting his gaze anymore.

"You really screwed that one up" he mutters to himself then he shut the tablet off walking back to the cortex.
